What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
From Amazon: Get deep discounts on open-box, like-new, refurbished, or used products that are in good condition but do not meet Amazon.com's rigorous standards as "new".

Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, new but with damaged packaging product aka "dinger" and trade ins in generally like new condition. They are considered 3rd party by affiliation and as such the "Amazon Warehouse Deals" distinction but are still part of Amazon.

What is AmazonSmile?

About AmazonSmile

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes! All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken during restocks and or when pricing algorithm goes haywire. During those times, prices don't adjust and assimilate with the current inventory quickly enough to show the sorting as such

I'm waiting for a ps4, xb1, 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it, and or set alerts... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What is this "glitch deals" that I keep hearing about in this thread?
On August 7th, 2014, AWD glitched out similar to how it did around penny deals, except lot of stuff went for cheap instead for a penny. The pricing algorithm went haywire and in the process lot of stuff went for cheap across the AWD spectrum from games to iphones to tablets and everything else in between. The "glitch deal" lasted for maybe a couple of hours and fellow CAGs that were around during that time made out like a bandit. Below is the timeline leading up to the night and the deals that went down on that night.

Yeah I don't think you will be getting a pallet of water lol, just something to annoy Amazon CS once you receive one case ..

I'm pretty sure this is some kinda wording error on amazon's side and that it's just 1 case of water, the wording on the site says 56 cases but it's not sold by amazon, and my actual order just says Crystal Geyser Alpine Spring Water, 16.9 oz Bottle, 35 count
Sold by: Clean It Supply
$22.01

There are also only 54 units in the picture. I don't think they would add two more onto the pallet.

Read the reviews. Looks like the seller screwed up the price and manufacturer will not honor the quoted price. It says $25 for a 35 case.

I mean, I don't see why the manufacturer would ever be expected to honor a price that a third party seller puts on amazon, amazon should be banning these companies if they're listing single cases of water under an ASIN for a 56 case pack of water though to dupe people

yeah idk, I sent them an email asking but haven't heard back, bet they just ship all the orders even if you're trying to get a cancel

i had a similar issue happen when I ordered  24 pack of green candy straws and they only sent me one.  amazon gave the refund and i got free candy but I wouldn't suggest going through the hassle.

Well, be careful with games again.  Ordered Wolfenstein 2 for X1 from their Warehouse Deals.  Got it yesterday and it turned out to be the PAL version instead of the NTSC version.  Amazon apologized and I now have to return it for a refund, while trying to find a copy for this region again.   If it wasn't for the fact that I might want to sell it down the road, I would keep it, but a PAL version would be a bigger pain in the butt to get rid of.

I thought Amazon got their crap straight, but there apparently is still some issues with it.   I might just grab one used from GS, since it's around that price and some of Amazon's 3rd party sellers are still selling other region games under NTSC versions(judging from the feedback).

They must have issues with Wolfenstein. I won a contest on another site for Wolf 2. It was sent via Amazon and was the PAL version as well. Not the biggest issue since the One isn't region locked but still odd.

Worth noting that this topic is (was) no longer viewable on the Video Game Deals forum. The last post was more than 2 months ago. I had to locate it in my browser history to get back here. With that in mind, my Prime is up for renewal in a few days. I have cancelled it. Nearly seven years I was a Prime member, but both the deals and good trades to get credit have gone the way of the dodo. And, as such, so has my membership.

If I wasn't still somehow grandfathered into the prime family plan I'd have cancelled my membership long ago. Definitely not worth it like it used to be. This thread being dead is a perfect example of just how amz has gone down. This used to be one of the most popular threads on these boards

Amazon no longer taking trade ins on most older games really seems to have hurt the inventory for AWD. I used to order at least 1 game a week, especially when there was something cheap that I could order with no rush shipping for $1 credit to use towards PSN credit and play through the game quickly and trade it back in for close to what it cost or sometimes even more than it cost. Now with the No Rush credits no longer applying for game cards and hardly anything to order, I order maybe at most 1 - 2 games a month.  Non gaming pricing has also increased. I was price watching a K'Nex Roller Coaster, the new price was $14.xx, Like New was $0.75 less than the new price. Even acceptable condition with damage to the item was almost 75% of the new price.

Amazon is sneaky.  I had my Prime subscription set to a card that was no longer vaild due to Gamestop's hack, yet they switched it too one of my valid credit cards and didn't even send me notice they did that, or ask for my permission.  I probably should cancel my subscription just for that reason.

Microsoft did something similar to me years ago with Xbox Live. I had an expired card on there and decided not to renew. They updated the expiration on that card without my knowledge or consent. No company should be allowed to manipulate a CC that way.

AWD failed me again the other week, ordered leather arm rests for my Aeron and got the cheap vinyl ones in the mail, did a return but the AWD gamble has been panning out poorly lately

I've had a similar thing happen to me with Netflix and a couple other sites with recurring payments setup. I imagine as part of signing up for recurring payments, there's probably some fine print stating that you agree to it. In my case, it was a good thing, but definitely something to be aware of with autopay and recurring payments.

They did the same to me, I was livid.

All giant corporations do that kind of shit. Why do you think they even want your CC on file to begin with?
All my preorders with an invalid credit card are not switched over to a valid one on file for Best Buy and just about everywhere else I do online shopping at. I am prompted to manually change this and authorize another card to be charged. If I don't change it in time the preorder is canceled. Amazon has been the only one that has been shady about it, for me anyway. Not surprising, it was for my Prime subscription which they are desperate to keep going.

So Warehouse deals still tends to have gems that can be found time to time.  I picked this up for $11.xx and so far from i can tell it is legit. I haven't had a chance to test it yet.

Yeah I took it back to a store and got refunded. I explained it to them and told them that it needs to be marked defective and not just sent back to the warehouse to be sold again but who knows if it ended up back up for sale.
Yeah, this exact thing happened to me a few years ago at Gamestop. Took three different orders to get a legit copy of the game. Second attempt they sent me Super Mario World...like a legit copy of it. Package label said Chrono Trigger but that was an awkward return lol.
