F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

What condition does products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. However, some people have reported that games were in no so scratched condition with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for the 360 slim, or ps3 to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.
Maybe someone could list something super cheap and describe it as "Cover art only" to see if they cause any drops - that way its unlilely someone will order the "Cover art only" item.
It's nothing new. I know people who do it, but they get their orders canceled all the time so it's kind of a waste. Just put "ERROR - DO NOT PURCHASE" in the item description and no one will purchase it.

wow amazon really messin up this past week..

first ordered

wizard of oz off amazon.. got put on the wrong truck and said shipment delayed ..

So i called them up to get an Est time when i will get it and the worker goes to make up for the error we will credit you the entire cost of the game...

Well i got an email today saying

We are sorry that your item never came (what is werid cause i never emailed them) we have refunded your credit card the entire cost

Called up amazon and they said it was an error in their system and it would take way too long to fix the problem (i dont know why they just couldnt recharge for the game ) but they will let it stand

So i got wizard of oz for the ds for free + 15 bucks free :)
Ordered Onimusha 1... been meaning to play this series at some point and this seems like a perfect opportunity to do just that.
Good call. I played it way back when I first got a PS2 and liked it. It's like samurai resident evil. Onimusha 2 is even better.

The Trauma Center games on the Wii are some of my favorites on the console. Just be careful with the later surgeries in the game. Really, really hard.

Well, I got my Used-Good Hannah Montana PSP combo. The box looks like someone stabbed it and Amazon put some clear packing tape over it and a sticker on the UPC. No other damage otherwise. Looks like someone got it damaged in the mail and sent it back. System is nice and minty and never opened. :)
seems to be a couple of price drops across the board on games in the warehouse
And a couple of price increases as well...

No shit! I have it for the DS and man them later surgeries are really fucking hard. There is no room for error, thats for sure.
Wow, I forgot all about MNR's...

Are ppl still even playing this game online?
Definitely not worth the $35.99. When the trade in value jumped to $31 the one day, I gladly traded it in. First off, the gameplay is downright terrible and clunky. Secondly, the load times are unbearable, both online and offline.

Finally, if you are interested in the online (which is pretty much the biggest point to the game), don't be. It is completely broken. I don't have any problems with other PS3 games online, but when I connected to MNR, I almost always joined a group of people who were constantly lagging and warping around the track. That was if I was lucky enough to stay connected to other players for more than 2-3 minutes. It is a huge shame for a game with so much creativity. Creating characters, cars, and tracks is a blast...playing with them or sharing them with other people is not.

The loading times can be long but they have been far improved and many of the online issues have been improved.

I thoroughly enjoyed the offline single player campaign far more than many other games and have continued to get play out of it online. So I think it's worth trying out.

good to hear. Almost kicked it off my wish list after the last post.
Tales of Symphonia $17.99
I remember buying that game Used from Rhino Games before GameStop bought them out probably 6 years ago for $17.99. I never thought that it was a rare game or even really worth that. Now I'm glad I picked it up.

It's a great game though and I think that at $18 it's a great buy. If you're interested in the Tales series, this is a must-have game.

ugh, 2 was my least favorite, possibly tied with dawn of dreams (though DoD played better). The best onimusha by far was 3. If you havent played that, I highly recommend it

So I could play this on the wii right? Do I need to buy a gamecube memory card too? I've never had a gamecube, and haven't bought any wii games yet either =-)

Now this one is just odd.

Didn't think Amazon even carried import video games.

If you're still around, I'm curious as to what firmware came with it? So far, I've only seen 6.2s which is disappointing.

Just do what I did and check all of your local Gamestops for their used PSP's. It took me about 4 stores.

Those Triti surgeries. God, I still don't understand the pattern to them. I'd get some wicked hand cramps moving those things.

Thankfully the newest entry in the series on the Wii focuses on fun and not ridiculously hard situations. Probably the most fun I've had playing a game all year, too.

It came with 5.5 IIRC. I don't pirate so it's no big deal to me. HalfByteLoader will run Homebrew on 6.2 IIRC. You need Hot Shots Golf or something.

Of course, if I wanted a portable emulator, I'd just buy a Gamepark.

Got a couple of things in today and man, I'm blown away.

Legends of Wrestlemania was "like new" at 9.99. It came sealed.

Halo 3 LE at $21.99. Came opened, but had all content. Metal case was hard to open and essentials disc was scratched from transport. Not a deal breaker considering the price.

Xbox 360 Messenger Kit $13.99. "Like New" It has one corner of the packaging busted, but the contents are sealed.

PSP Extended Life Battery Kit $16.99. "Like New" Packaging is busted to hell, but the components are undamaged. This was the biggest risk item to me, since I thought the battery might have been used. Works great however.

Overall I'm extremely pleased with Amazon.

I gotta keep my eye on this. Couldn't enough stuff to get free shipping when i looked. Guess you guys beat me to the good stuff.

Seems like they added a whole bunch of stuff overnight, but the prices aren't anything worth talking about. There may be some gems in there, but I haven't found any yet.
they all go to breath of fire i think lol

edit: nvm haha my bad
Yeah the links break all the time in this thread (probably from the auto-refer thing).
Grabbed FFV, but still angry BoF III got swiped away :*(
If it makes you feel any better I had already bought it before it was posted here. Dunno if there was more than 1 copy though.
