F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

What condition does products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. However, some people have reported that games were in no so scratched condition with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for the 360 slim, or ps3 to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.
Unless it's $15 or less, I'm not gonna bite. I've heard both good and terrible things about that game, mostly terrible. I enjoyed the first ToS game a LOT, and would hate for a bad experience with ToS2 to ruin my enjoyment of the series.

That said, if another comes up at a good price, I'm very likely to bite.
You should probably shoot for the Gamecube version the next time they get more copies. I got mine for around that price.

edit: Dude. Did people buy the $240+ 120 GB PS3s?

Hopefully some DSi XLs hit the warehouse after all the 3DS news of today.

I knew that thing was going to be $300. Might be lower here, but that's gonna be a pricey piece of hardware.

$300 is like launch PS3 pricing.

That was my only ever purchase from these Warehouse deals and now I'm hesitant to buy any more - especially 360 games. I'd still bite on PS3 stuff, maybe, since those are hard to make unplayable ;).

I've ordered dozens of games from Warehouse Deals and I've had a 0% defect rate so far. Everything has worked perfectly. This is much better than any other used source I've experienced, such as Gamestop.com, where the games often come disc only and non-functioning.

No reason to dump the DSI cause the 3ds isnt coming out till next year in japan and who knows when here

President Satoru Iwata said yesterday the company pushed back the release of the 3DS, the biggest overhaul of Nintendo’s flagship handheld device since 2004, until Feb. 26 because of concerns over production

The 3DS will be priced at 25,000 yen when it begins selling in Japan on Feb. 26 and is Nintendo’s biggest portable product debut since the 2004 release of the touch-screen DS player, which sold more than 132 million units worldwide. The product will go on sale in the U.S. and Europe in March, Nintendo said

might as well say be lucky to have it summer 2011 here

They said it'd be out here March 2011. I don't know how true that is, but it's not out of the question. It looks to be an impressive piece of hardware, but none of the games scream essential to me.

As for overproduction though, they are most certainly right on that end. In the last year and a half Nintendo have introduced the DSi, DSi-exclusive titles, a remodeled DSi in the XL and not a few weeks after that they unveiled the 3DS. I know they'll sell millions, but as a gamer I can honestly say it's overwhelming.

Yeah. That just seems to be Nintendo's way of handling handhelds.

Gameboy --> Gameboy Pocket
Gameboy Advance --> SP --> Micro

I always tell myself that being an early adopter isn't always the best move, but I can't resist a shiny new system. :)
Congrats to whoever bit on Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World for the Wii that was $20 and "Like New".

It's hovered at $20 for weeks. I was waiting for $15 or so before I bit. Now I don't have to wait.
I saw that too, and it didn't look like it was going down. So I finally decided to gamble with gamestop. Used the 50% off with pre-order of Ico/Shadow of the Colossus Collection (SAVE50 I think), edge, SAVER and got it for $9 shipped. Worse case I could take it in to local store. It ran perfectly and came complete case/art/manual/disc with only 1 flaw: the original shrink wrap was still stuck to the binding and wouldn't come off, and was eco-case. So I swapped it with a different Wii case.

If you don't want to do pre-order promotion, it's $19.99 at gamestop and you can use cag16 for 16% off, SAVER free shipping, and another 10% if you have an edge card so it should come to $14.80 shipped (before tax). I don't care if the reviews said "it's just more of the same" because I loved the 1st game, and as long as they don't destroy the characters I grew to love, as they make appearances in this one, $9 is well worth it for me.

The PSP is one year younger than the DS and has put out new handhelds in a shorter span of time. Don't even get me started on the iPods.

I just got my "Like New" ps3 slim 160gb console, I paid $226 cause that's the cheapest I've seen the slims going for lately and so far it works flawlessly so I'm satisfied. I really like the slim design compared to the old phat, it's a really compact quiet and sexy system. especially compared to my old 360, maybe its time to upgrade to a 360 slim if I can find one on Warehouse deals on the cheap side..

With the unreadable disc errors going on with Halo Reach and Guitar Hero with the 360 slims, I'd hold off on that purchase, at least, until it's figured out what's going on.
^ Daaaaaaaamn that is tempting, but for a system with such notorious hardware issues I think I still have to buy new for the warranty.
As far as I know the console has a one year warranty puchased new, used, or not.

Snagged a couple of games last night. Got an e-mail today telling me my estimated ship date is 12-1. Waiting for the cancellation e-mail...

That happens to me almost every time, which I why I rarely use Amazon. Usually by the time they actually get back to me it's already been sent out and on the way in only a few days...not weeks/months. Wait it out and I bet you can get some credit or shipping refunded or something.

Damn, those are some sick deals on the 360 slims, too bad I missed em. I think I'll just wait for a cheap 4gb slim then upgrade it to a 250gb hard drive to save extra moolah
I saw that too, and it didn't look like it was going down.
Yeah, it's been $20 for weeks. I want to say I started watching the price sometime around late July. The only price changes it's undergone have been when it changed to $21 and then back to $20. In about 6-8 weeks it hadn't dropped at all.

If you don't want to do pre-order promotion, it's $19.99 at gamestop and you can use cag16 for 16% off, SAVER free shipping, and another 10% if you have an edge card so it should come to $14.80 shipped (before tax). Yeah, $9 is worth it to me as well. It's $25 new at Amazon right now and I have over $60 in GCs to use, so if I wanted to get it I could have multiple times.

Ugh... just bought. I know have 3 Xbox 360's.

No idea what I am going to do with the other two. Does anyone know how easy it is to return these if they come in non-working or very screwed up conditions?

I want to upgrade to an S model but have no clue what to do with my other two. Don't really like the idea of trading them in because of the low trade in values.

eBay and amazon are your friends. If you have HDD's with them and a controller you'll get at least 115.
