Yo, Gohastings just gave me a $10 off coupon for canceling my Amiibos. Check your emails, never mind its only works on a $59.99 new game.

Just went in to GS in a paranoid fit of anxiety and completely paid off every amiibo I had preordered with them. Came out to like 80 something for Shulk, Sonic, Sheik, Ike, Dedede, and Megaman.

They told me they expect Shulk and Sheik to arrive tomorrow but none of the others.

I think the Target employees would have had to save the guy from getting his ass kicked if I was there. I had something like that happen to my nephew once and it got ugly, fast. Don't do that shit to kids.

 
I'm EXTREMELY against preordering cause as an action figure collector, I realize how crappy paint application is for mass produced stuff. So for those who preorder, on average, how's the quality? I don't care about box, just paint. I regret not preordering wave 3, but wave 4 I might end up doing so.

That is why I preorder multiple and return the extras. I preordered 5 Shiek's. Kept 2 best paint jobs. Returned 3.

Mixed like all Amiibos have been. For example of my two Lucarios, one is perfect and one has a weird runny eye half way down his face.

 
I'm not sure if it was mentioned, but Fox is available to order at Gamestop.com

As well as Sheik and Toon Link.

It's like 16 euros dude. Whatever you split with someone has to be shipped a second time once received in the US which will easily be another $8-12 for just a few pieces so you're not saving money by going in with someone. You'd possibly save like two bucks if you were ordering 2-4 figures for only two people but that's it. Any more people or larger packages and there's no savings.

I wouldn't recommend doing this anyways since orders stay open for weeks or months at a time before they are fulfilled, or even cancelled. That leaves all the non-ordering parties in the dark.

Hmm... Apparently a best buy within like 5 miles of me has meta knight in stock. I'm annoyed it's currently 10:35 though. It'll probably be gone by the time I get out of school tomorrow.

Really? That's a bummer. I wonder if we could make the arguement to the cashier or manager or whatever that the release date is simply an error since it's so far in the future.
 
Got my Toon Link today from Walmart. Packaged perfectly. No damage. Although, Toon Link's left hand looks bent way too much. Like his hand is limp but backwards. Are they all like that?

Either way, the detail on his tunic is rad.

Just noticed a lot of best buys in Indiana are showing Meta Knight as available for pickup as well.

Doesn't work when you trying adding to cart though.

 
How long has Shulk shown as "Online Only" on gamestop.com? It's nice to see they are getting restocks on Fox and Sheik.

Best Buy's website will show "pick up" availability for the same day, as long as the item is in stock. However, the item cannot be added to your cart, and if you go into the store, the item will not be able to be sold until the release date in their system. Basically, the fact that it says you can pick up today is meaningless unless the release date is today as well.

What it does mean though is that the item has been received by your store, so you might want to head over there tomorrow and see if what they received is for pre-orders only or not.

Only just today/this afternoon. I've been keeping an eye on the page for the past few days to jump on any nearby Shulks.

...but the local search option was taken away too. : / Probably'll have to call around tomorrow onward to see what came in each day.
