If you are talking about amiami, it didn't technically sell out. It was up for a minute and then all pre orders closed down. The site also limits it to 1 per household. I think it was just a glitch.

Before all this Amiibo shit retailers used to just open up pre orders before they got their numbers. I mean, I can order mass effect 4 on BB right now because they know they will get more than what people will pre order. For Amiibo, now they are waiting for numbers. A couple exceptions are Amazon uk and France. I think they said, okay, for sure we are getting X (maybe 1000) so let's open up pre orders of that much just to get going. Amazon.fr also limited it to 2 per household. I think uk was an infinite amount, but I'm not sure.

Bottom line is no one is actually "sold out" yet. No doubt they will sell out, but I think everyone is being super carful.
 
Guess theres a limit of one. Kept trying to order 2, and managed to charge my acount 10 times because of its infinite loading, and now they are doing reverals on all. Just wanted one for me and my friend, lol.. 

I think I dislike fry's website now ;/

Ha same thing here. The site crashed when I hit order, yet the authorization charge managed to go through, of course...

Well, said screw it and ordered one. Didn't really want to pay $25, but they're still going for $30+ on ebay and I have nothing to trade for it. Thanks for the heads up.

My Wave 1 collection is officially complete. Only two Amiibos left in Wave 3!

Everybody must really be waiting in line at Best Buy...  Mega Man has been up on Frys for over 30 mins and no other site I look at has mentioned it... This is why I appreciate this site!!

 
These amiibos are killing me on gas. lol. I'm currently checking the sofa for quarters so I can drive 20 miles to the dead Best Buy. God I need to sell my F150.

Yeah, the manager at my BB said he had 20 NOT being held for preorders. And no, I was saying I need to sell my truck and buy a car.

Yeah, I deeply regret this now, It went through 10 times charges, but they only reversed 2. and I have zero orders.. I did a test buy on one and it went through (so I have a true order of one megaman), so Im down like 28 * 8 due to site glitches... Hope they reverse them all quickly or something, it's gonna suck if i'm without the money for a week for a site glitch.

Only wanted two megaman. Instead i loan them 300 dollars til they decide to give it back.

Soon you shall be able to purchase a car with gold and platinum amiibos. At this point, it seem that we will be heading towards an amiibo-based economy in the near future. 

 
Well guess i am going to take a chance and take a early lunch to hit bb up. Any going to the greenwood of castleton store in IN. The one by the house said they only had enough MK to fill preorders.
 
If all goes according to plan, I'll be getting Dedede in the mail today and picking up my orders of Ike, Meta Knight, and Megaman from BBY. Just hoping everything goes smoothly and they all are in good condition.

I reported this yesterday but I was told by a chick at customer service that they had 'very few' beyond preorders of MK, at the Rockaway, NJ BBY. However, this chick two weeks ago (or whenever the first shipment of MK was reported in) said that they wouldn't be available until the end of the year (reflecting the placeholder date).

So who knows. I am going regardless to get my preorder and if I can come out with an extra one, that'd be cool but not necessary. I'm going right at open because I can't get there any earlier, so there will need to be a lot of them to still be available past whatever line up there is.

A few posts ago, someone said the Cherry Hill BBY was getting 'a ton' so it doesn't make sense that any BBY up here would be short handed and that one wouldn't be.

 
I was going to wait in the cold today, but forget it.  My bestbuy wouldn't give me a number for metaknight, so I'm not waiting in the cold for the chance at nothing.

After my job interview this morning I'll just F5 like a madman hoping he'll come in stock.

 
Called my best buy last night and they told me they'd hand out tickets at 7 as soon as a manager got in. They came through. Now I'm in the comfort of my warm home and still get my meta knight!![attachment=12360:image.jpg]

Why? That's a great way to do it! Would you rather wait hours and have a chance there won't be enough? Or have to race to the amiibo isle? This guy gets to wait it out at home.

Same, but the BB a town away is pretty dead so I'm hoping I have a shot. I feel like dogshit due to the weather and my ass ain't waiting in the cold.I'm leaving at 8:40 and it's about a 15 minute drive. Hopefully I can snag him.

Because its freezing and there won't be any way to tell if tickets were giving out already or not because everyone would be in their cars.

I'm not saying tickets are bad, they are great. I'm saying handing it out at 7 is bad.
