I bought my third megaman yesterday at BestBuy. The first one was the preorder and it was slightly damaged, the second one was to replace the first, the third because... well, I hadn't seen a Megaman in the display and I love the little guy so I thought I should just open the first.

I have an issue...

 
My Megaman finally came in from Amazon yesterday. I still haven't seen Megaman, King Dedede, Sonic, Meta Knight, or Ike in any store. It's crazy.

 
well i am 26/29 so far with the collection.  Now i just need to find a decent priced Wii Fit & Villager and wait for the Marth reprint and i will be set until the next waves.   Hard part is deciding to actually open these or not.  Hell i may just open these because all these boxes take up so much room.

 
Saw about 20 Mega Man this week. Ugh. I want to buy one to make into Protoman...

I really want Rosalina, but I can't justify over 12.99 for any of these! :(

 
Hmm... around here the pegs are still stocked with wave 1.  Are those refreshed in the new cases, or are the new cases only newer characters?

 
Where is that great picture of the man with the grill made of golden amiibo?  I wanted to show my wife it but can't find it for the life of me.

Because they think they can? (I really don't know either).

It's called the "Toys R Us tax". I remember them selling official Wii remotes for $41.99 recently, among hundreds of other items just slightly over MSRP.

It's a good thing he's become easy/easier to find. I dropped mine on some spikes the other day and he exploded.

I know! Its crazy..amiibo hunting is so much fun. My next amiibo purchase will be duck hunt. Looks awesome!

 
They do it because MSRP: Manufacturer's SUGGESTED retail price.
And people are willing to pay the inflated prices.

You need a compatible amiibo to unlock the amiibo Party mode. Also, amiibo is not required to play the conventional party mode.

I feel like it would be more practical to just give away random SMS figures or maybe gold... But I just feel like silver is a stretch, or at lease they would of hinted at it like special giveaway or prizes... We will see
