Meanwhile in Australia, a friend of mine casually walked into a store and preordered 3 Ness. They have it so easy :(
 
People need to stop supporting this exclusive bullshit.  It's sad they keep doing it, hence why I stopped buying them

I don't think it's worth complaining about what store having what exclusive... regardless of the store/Amiibo, Wave 4 is gonna be a huge bitch to obtain because everyone will try to order as many as they can since we won't know what's gonna be the most rare. 

I mean, look at Toad from the SM line. He sold out almost everywhere online fairly quickly but once released, many people actually saw him in stores. And is prices on eBay aren't that high either. 

I think people are over-reacting with Ness. Yes, he'll be difficult to get but probably no more so than any of the other exclusives. 

 
Don't Australians pay through the nose for video games though? A smogon friend of mine said he payed the USD equivalent of $80 for Pokemon Y in a retail store on release day. He stated taxes as a reason for the price difference. I'm not so sure...but I don't live there.

I wonder if that's actually true, and if it applies to amiibos.

Yes it is. Also, their currency is worth less than the USD, so they get hit twice on it.

 
Nintendo still doing f****ng store exclusives and the stores around me don't even get shipments of the exclusives.

On the plus side jigglypuff is a target exclusive. I don't care for jigg and i'm glad i don't have to set foot in the rat sewage that is my target, full of stealers and robbers.

Gosh, that's rough. I'd only be able to afford one game per year over there, and a home console only every 7 years. I'd probably just stick with a handheld. Forget about amiibos lol.

I've always figured Ness will be hard to get no matter if he's store exclusive or not. I have so many nintendo figures and toys I've collected over the years but never have had the opportunity to buy a Ness figure (not sure if he's even been released in any form in the U.S.) so with all the earthbound & smash bros fans I think most everyone of them will want Ness. Plus, as I said before, if I want him he will be hard to get. The splatoon 3 pack I want really bad too so get ready, don't know what to expect of that one.

 
Not when higher minimum wage more often than not translates to greater inflation for their currency. Which is already a problem.

He's banking on getting one. Which isn't hard to do if you camp around 3pm at a store and go hopping.

 
Nintendo's amiibo philosophy: increase the quality with each coming wave, watch all the fans enter an amiibo hunting craze. Millions want them that's for sure, we only produce 1,000's so latch on to the amiibo lure.

Going to be ready to go for Jiggly, hopefully, so that I only have to camp out at TRU again. Honestly would rather get Greninja and have to camp for Jiggly because the closest TRU to me is 40 mins while I have like three Targets all about 15-25 minutes away.

 
Why Nintendo, why!? The four amiibo I want in this wave three of them are store exclusive. Now I have to play "TRU tax" too. They better not pull this BS when it comes to the color yarn Yoshi amiibo.

How does TRU do preorders? I have never had the pleasure of getting one through with them. Lucario was an absolute nightmare around here (SE PA), most stores only got 2 after over a week of delayed shipments. If I can't preorder greninja I'm not even going to bother camping out.
