im at manhattan mall gamestop pretty calm here just a few people hopefully this should go smoothly i wonder what hell union square gamestops must look like now

Its right under Target so yeah Im surprised that its surviving too but apparently its chalk full of people waiting in line, according to the employee at the store I wont bother going IF they are still available online(Or in store) tomorrow then I will go I take the bus so for me its not easy getting to these locations

 
So im the only one even in my store and the manager says he has no idea what im talking about and there will no preorders today for any amiibos. I even said should i come back at 12 (PsT) and he says no

Looks like they aren't putting a stop to the line here on Coleman. Good or bad sign... I'm not sure

So according to the memo, they are selling in store first so that they make sure that in store get first dibs and so that they can cut it off right when their supply is up. So if online is supposed to go up once in store is finished ... would they even hae any left if their intention is to only sell in store until their supply is out ? 

If they had separate allocations set up, wouldnt they be able to do them both at the same time. 

 
God GameStop has some weirdos as customers. I now remember why I never come here. None of these people look normal. On the bright side I'm the only person here for Amiibos. If I can get away from the huge weirdo trying to talk to me about the Nintendo Direct life will be good.
 
I get the feeling the stores are gonna burn through the entire allotment and there's gonna be nothing for online pre-orders.

Damn this in-store only timed exclusivity. The Gamestop close to my work has a large Amiibo fanbase, so I'm sure it's slim pickings.

Thank the gods I have an office and can check this thread at random times. Didn't get Jigglypuff, but got all five non-exclusives at Best Buy. Here's hoping I can make it 2/3 today :)

I talked to my GameStop this morning and the manager said there may not be any online offerings posted if they sell out in store. So I think they are pulling from the same stock.
