Anyone instore successful yet?  Man, I would hate to be number 15 in that line right now.  There goes your whole afternoon, possibly for nothing.

There's no way more people are hitting up Gamestop right now than the number of people that hit up Amazon every minute of every day
Think people are F5'n the shit out of it? And yes of course Amazon and Google can handle it, they are some of the biggest companies in the world. This is a video game store.

Maybe Nintendo shouldn't do fuck ing store exclusives because companies like Gamestop don't have the fuck ing IT infrastructure to handle the fuck ing demand of these little plastic fuck ers. The only website that can take this kind of abuse is Amazon and they don't have any fuck ing exclusives. I feel like Nintendo is in their own little fuck ing bubble in Japan and don't have a fuck ing clue sometimes.
please watch the language there are children here

it seems short-sighted to have it where the online web servers have any effect whatsoever on the in-store POS systems

this is bad.

There is a big difference. Gamestop is cheap as hell. They don't have real servers to handle any sort of load. This has been going on for years now. Any time they have an exclusive offer or flash deal, their site gets knocked offline.

Don't blame the messenger. "There are no websites that can handle this kind of traffic" were the words you used.

Only because it says "online only" on the webpage. There have been plenty of online items that state that and still showed up in stores.
