This is too good. I am here not caring about this entire wave, but this thread is entertainment.  (sorry everyone who is having issues, not my fault)

 
I am at a GS and their computer is going extremely slow. This is awful.

I called another GS and the guy told me he has nine people in line and all three of his computers are not really working

I was first in line at my GameStop but my Ness order crashed at checkout. Miserable mess, I had to leave since I was on my lunch break. Super pissed.

Best Buy also backordered my LUCINA so I'm trying to figure that one out too.

Guess I didnt miss much by not being able to go into the store then. Seriously thinking about joining the ranks of the people on here that have decided to call it quits with these things. 

This far along in the lifespan and they still cant get it right with them.

 
This is like an adult movie store announce they are giving out free porn, and only have one cashier on duty on the scheduled day.

My wife was told by the Gamestop employee that online pre-orders would start around 5:30-6:00PM Eastern.  She's going to stick around and try to order in store anyway.

It seems intentional at this point, does anyone here seriously believe that Nintendo isnt aware of the hype that amiibo causes here?

Rarity creates craze,im positive most people wouldnt give a damn about jugglypuff gad it not bern for her exclusive nature.

Also Nintendo is a company that would rather undership units than to over produce them.
 
Although I can't go to the store and pre-order Ness, I got a little bit of joy out of making some people wait 30 minutes to pre-order theirs thanks to all of our F5ing.:p

That's what I remember too unless that was all fake? I'm pissed because this is the middle of the night for me (I work nights) so I figured I could roll out of bed and place an order on the website. Now it turns out I have to go into a store, and even that may be a crapshoot. fuck this.

 
So the print run on Ness is what .... 1,000 unit ? There are roughly 4,500 GS in the US and only a handful of those stores got orders in for a single person in the store before they are "Sold Out" 

 
I bet it's super awkward standing in a GS right now with the computers all down and you can't help but notice that little 'new releases' shelf above the GS employee's head or better yet being heckled by the GS employee to see whether you need to pre-order something while you wait LMAO.

 
Manager at my store emailed the allocation dept with my power up card info just in case this doesn't go through. He's been really helpful trying to help me get Lucina, Robin, and Ness.

I'm the only one in store and he's trying on both registers.
 
I've noticed the site's been taken down for a few minutes (i.e. it immediately takes me to the "down for improvements" page). I wonder if they did that so stores could order, or if they took it down for everyone, including them.

Still Nintendo could increase the production by a bit, probably double it for the rare characters and it will not have any effect on demand. Trust me, the installed fan base is already there to support it.

 
How much money would Nintendo make if they decide to take pre-orders of the next waves unlimited all day now and then order/build that exact number of Amiibos. It would beat PS4/GTAV numbers...  lol
