I wonder what this means for online orders, assuming the site ever comes back up. Amazon may be my last hope.

At this point, I'd probably be able to save money by just preordering the Lucina Figma for ~$65.

 
Finally got my order of Ness, Lucina, and Robin in. Also got Lucina, Robin, and Wario at Best Buy earlier so I have one to keep and one to open now.
 
I got my ness! I was the first (and only) person there at three. He tried to order it, it didn't work, we set everything up then I went to CVS and when I came back there were two more people waiting and mine STILL hadn't processed.

It finally went through at 3:58.

 
 
I was third in line and it took 55 minutes to process the order, but got the 6 pack and Splattoon 3 pack. I need a drink.

I cannot understand how it gets harder and harder to preorder these when Nintendo knows how big the demand is. Surely by now they've ramped up supply, right?

 
The in-store supply is not directly related to the online supply.

They wouldn't announce it will be live online and in-store and then go "oops! Nevermind! Sorry, it's not gonna be in stock online anymore!"

That would look horrible on Gamestop's part from a PR perspective.

 
I waited 1 hour and 20 mins and was giving them my shipping info when Robin+Lucina sold out and were removed from my order. I still got Ness but that was some extremely bad timing :b

Good thing I got BB pre-orders on them for backup but I didn't want to pay the extra $5 shipping

Ironically for not picking up Lucina and Robin at GS they did have a minty mint used copy of Fire Emblem radiant dawn which I've been looking for for awhile now -- busted out the bday coupon, the PUR, and some mad $ certs and picked up the game while waiting for the Ness PO to go through.

Today's been pretty good I guess as long as Target ships the Jiggs and BB doesn't cancel my PO.  Now just need to hope Amazon will let me get Charizard and Wario and then it'll just be the mess that is TRU for Greninajmeister.

 
I was the 2nd customer in line and the 2nd/last person to get the bundle within the store. Holy shit. I didn't even bother with the splatoon
 
I got there an hour early to be the first in line.  Took 48 minutes for the 6-pack bundle and Splatoon 3-pack to go through.  Then I left.

If the 9 people behind me didn't get any... well... glad I had it shipped to home.  I won't want to be there at pick-up time with the mob and their pitchforks.

 
Was 3rd in line out of 9 at Gamestop took 1 hour and 10 min for me to get my '6 bundle' & Spatoon 3-pack order through. The first person order went through 45 min after preorders went live.

online to store is a disaster...
