I waited in line for 45 minutes before I gave up. In that 45 minutes, only 1 person was able to get his order through....I was 15th in line. Hopefully I'll have better luck once Ness hits GS wedsite

Why am I finding it funny that Nintendo was a card manufacturer, then made it big with toys, then made it huge with video games.

They went into slight decline the last couple of years, then make it huge with toys of their video games...

No way Gamestop could've known they'd get 85x the web traffic rush than on Black Friday over Amiibo. No way to predict that kind of insanity.

 
I have returned triumphant from my local Gamestop (Bayshore Mall near Milwaukee, WI) with 1 Ness, 1 Robin, and 1 Lucina preordered. Was first in line at 130 CT and waited until 2:50 for orders to finally go through. From the looks of things, I got lucky on Robin/Lucina. With my Best Buy order, that brings me up to 2 Robins and 2 Lucinas.

My wave 4 adventures are done! On to wave 5!

Also, lol at the middle-aged lady who was getting "a bunch for her nephew" and didn't "even know what these things are". Nice try, Mrs. I Sell Crap on eBay While My Husband Has a Real Full-time Job!

Just got a confirmation email that my Ness went through. Almost 2 hours latter. Shout out to the GS staff at my place. Dude was going beyond the call of duty to make us happy and get as many orders going at once.

How many were a "bunch"? We were limited to one per sku, so people could get the bundle and then buy one individual of Ness, Robin, etc if they wanted.

She wanted 1 of each, for sure. She said she'd try to get more if she could, but was shot down almost instantly.

 
Since I've accomplished the Game stop goal.. about time I move on to ToysRUs and Greninja.... are people planning on camping out to pre-order tomorrow?
 
Yep, I was just able to get an in store order of Ness.  The only ones sold out as of a few minutes ago were Robin and Lucina. 

By the time you read this all may be sold out.

 
Called my local GS on the way home and, FWIW, the always knowledgable girl working said Ness should be up online "by 11:00" - I assume she meant Central.

Has anyone gotten a Ness Amiibo ordered online?

fuck ing Gamestop. Now getting a Ness Amiibo is going to cost as much as an Earthbound cartridge.

 
Finally got out of Gamestop and it was just two people me and some other guy. At least I got Ness and Pac-Man pre ordered the only two I wanted from this wave.
 
Went to GS during my lunch break, encountered blk Friday lines. Turned back around, I'll wait it out. I pre ordered Shulk a week before launch and got him. I was only going for ness.
 
...and I thought I'd be able to get a cheap, high-quality Ness figure out of these Amiibos.

You damn Nintendo fans ruin things :(   (I guess Nintendo and JuegoStop are more to blame)

Waited in line for 1 hour 20 minutes and got the whole bundle. I only wanted the Ness but they had a special line for people buying the bundles and it was shorter. I text my friend and told him I had Lucina locked in for him. I think he may have broke his phone when he dropped it out of excitement.
