Huh, so if we haven't received anything from Deep Discount besides an order confirmation email, we're good to go?  Fantastic, I guess I can check off Lucina from my todo list.  Just need to somehow get a Ness, and maybe Jigglypuff.

In your order details email, does it say that the Amiibo's are Backed Ordered for you? if so, you will likely see a cancelation as it was posted a page or two back

Hence the phrasing "I can only hope." And is there really a substantial market for the N3DS in the US? Seems like the XL is where it's at for most folks. Just saying I've heard relatively few complaints about it honestly.

It'd be difficult to provide anything in the way of evidence to support that claim. I just know that before the New models were released, whenever someone would ask "should I go for the XL or the standard?", the overwhelming answer to that was "the XL is totally worth the extra $30 dollars."

Maybe there are few complaining now, because few see the need to upgrade just yet. Who knows...

Eh, the XL is too big to be portable and the increased screen size brings the PPI down to a ridiculous number. It's like playing all your games through a screen door.

The cover plates and candy-coated buttons are a nice feature as well on the N3DS, but they're not as big of a deal as those first two are.

Agreed, I had bought the New 3DS XL as a stay-at-home system since I already had a launch 3DS..... but if I'd had a standard 3DS XL and they refused to bring the New 3DS here I would've refused the "upgrade".

Honestly the 3D face tracking is surprisingly convenient and amiibo's on 3DS smash is nifty I guess but otherwise it's not much of an upgrade.

A bit too big to easily carry. I have an original 3ds and a 3dsxl, but I've kept mine unopened in box with no real desire to upgrade to it. I will probably make the me to New 3dsxl when more games and/or amiibo support warrants the change.

I'm mixed. I've owned both of the original 3DSes and I feel that while playing a game the XL is perfect.

Carrying it around though? Eh... it really isn't that portable.

I felt that new 3DS was the perfect hybrid. Too bad Yankees can't get it.

 
Are people still planning on lining up out side of TRU on Monday for the in store Greninja preorders?  Or has the burnout stopped that as well?

I ended up being off all next week now and debating if i should attempt to stop in but i refuse to wait early for it...

Nah, got class and a ton of important work due that morning. Either way its gonna be insane there, I don't ever plan to go to a TRU for a morning release ever again. I wouldnt be surprised if people were there at 4 or 5AM

Just hoping my online orders don't get cancelled, otherwise I'll just pay for an import after release.

 
I'm going to go to TRU, just deciding how early I'll have to go.  Might just show up an hour early.  It's not worth standing in line for hours for amiibos.  I'll just trade someone another rare for Greninja if I can't get one. 

 
I have no desire for greninja = I'm not leaving work to stand in line.  With the way the other pre-orders have gone, as soon as the doors open, the manager will come and say that they've already sold all of the pre-orders. 

The scalpers are probably getting part time jobs at TRU so that they can buy up all of the pre-orders before the doors open.

I'm interested to see how Target handles their release day. I know some Targets had ticket systems, but mine did not. I hope the managers reflect on how it went last time so that it is more orderly this time and not just people sprinting through the maternity clothes to try and cut me off.

I hope mine does again. I have gone to 2 morning releases there and both were done awesomely. Hoping my luck at that store stays the same for Jigglypuff. Also a good thing the electronics section is right at the front near the entrance.

Toys R Us has consisently been my worst experiences though. First time people totally disregarded the line already formed and just moshed around the door before it was even open, then sprinted back to the Amiibo section and body blocked while they dug through figures. And the second time a group of friends or something hoarded all the rarer figures and just left the commons.

well to confirm someone who work at target need to input that number and see if the release date match if it not then that mean it isn't the same

Huh? Brickseek queries their inventory - if you put that UPC in, you get that 37 DPCI, which is the *only* one that doesn't correspond to a wave 4 amiibo on target.com (you can search any of the other DPCIs and it will return that specific amiibo - if you search the 37 one, it returns everything in video game accessories :p - aka, page not found)

The point is, the UPC is legit and matches the mystery DPCI at Target, which pretty much confirms that DPCI is Silver Mario.

 
almost time to stop following Amiiboinq on Twitter with all the useless spam updates and pretty much no heads up alerts on pre-order drops.

 
I'm still completely baffled by this wave... I knew it was going to be bad but these things sold out crazy fast, even when they listed them in the early hours of the morning.

i have a lucario pre-order card, toysRus has my money and i still don't have a lucario. Not sitting in line for hours just to get another failed preorder.

Too many people scalping the potential rare ones, on top of all of us who are buying more than one to be safe or for trading for others we missed.

Doesnt help that its another retailer exclusive wave, along with 3 pretty highly wanted figures. (Robin, Lucina, Ness)
