fuck I had to hit two separate stores just to get Pac-Man and Charizard.  Not even going to try for anybody else..... at least those were the ones I wanted anyways.

My store used a ticket system so it went smoothly. I feel like I made out well. My boss was ok with me showing up 45 minutes late - didn't even need to charge my sick time and I didn't have to wake up any earlier than I normally do as I got to my store 10 minutes before opening. I didn't have to give up anything unlike most everyone else.

Not even sure who to call at this point, feel like I'm being stonewalled from all angles. Yet the longer I wait, the less likely any action will be taken.

 
Went to Target at 9 and was only able to snag the last two jigglypuffs. All they had left were the splatoon characters. Went across the street to best but and waited 40 min and they didn't get charizard. I just snagged a silver mario, wario, and Pacman. TRU was sold out of greninja and charizard by the time I got there. I guess I'll just have to trade my extra jigglypuff for a greninja or charizard.

I'd say call the district manager, but I really don't think anyone can do anything for you. They MAY be able to give you some type of apology or compensation, but unlikely. If corporate told you a polite "shove off" then that's kind of the end of it.

 
Got to Target at 7:15. Was about 25th in line with a supposed 31 Jigglypuff in stock. The store had security onsite. By the time the store opened I was about 35th in line (that shit pisses me off). Manager comes out and announces 2 Amiibo per person... total. Everyone seems OK with that. They let us in slowly and had 4 checkouts open at CS. By the time I got up there were 6 Jigglypuff left. Got myself a Jigglypuff and the Splatoon 3-pack. After I was done checking out I went to Electronics to buy Splatoon with the watergun. As we waited they wheeled over the leftover Amiibos. I grabbed a Pac-man and the guy beside me grabbed one of 2 Warios that were left.

Today was a good day. Those 3 were all I wanted. :D/

The thing is that the store manager didn't even give me, or anyone else, any sort of apology. This store used a ticketing system for Rosalina, I have no idea why that wasn't also done here. Guess I'll just call corporate literally every day until something happens. There's not even fair compensation for that time, but I would like them to at least acknowledge how badly they fucked up.

 
Does anyone else get that annoying "jiiiiiiggggggalllllleeeepuuuuuffff" sing-song sound in their head whenever they read the name Jigglypuff on here??  Cuz I do.

 
My report on my Amiibo trip in Southern Maryland:

-Brandywine Target. Arrived at the store a quarter until 6:00 (wasn't sure how big of a crowd it would be in terms of the Jigglypuff Amiibo). The line was hardly existant, as it was just me and six other guys (and my mother). The store had a "two Amiibo" limit when it opened at 8:00 AM (although it dropped it after the initial line was depleted). In terms of figures, there were no Robin and Lucina, twelve Jigglypuff, and three of everything else. In the end, my mother and I ended up with two Jigglypuff, a silver Mario, and a Splatoon 3-Pack (and the Splatoon video game).

-Waldorf Toys R Us. When I arrived, there were about 11 people already in line (with it eventually reaching about 20 people). While I waited in line, my mother checked out the other Targets in the area (and got two more Silver Mario, another Jigglypuff, and one of the commons). Eventually, the store opened 20 minutes earlier and allowed three in at a time before opening to get the line out of the way. Based on the number of people who purchased figures before it was my turn, the store only had about 4-5 Robin and Lucina figures (not an issue, as I've ordered mine from Gamestop, with them, along with Ness, arriving on Monday). With my store not having restocks on Dedede, I ended up only getting a Greeninja.

-Waldorf Best Buy. Checked there to see if they had any Metaknights. It turned out they didn't have any, so I opted not to get anything there.

-Clinton Toys R Us. When I arrived there, there was no power at all, although a store clerk mentioned that they sold out of Robin and Lucina. Since I plan to do a Safeway run later this afternoon, I may check again to see if power is back on (and if they have any Greeninja figures left).

 
Target sent me an order confirmation for Jiggly, so full speed ahead for the moment. I only ordered 1 so as not to be a greedy bastard and also to reduce the odds they cancel it.

 
jiggypuf is up now. just put in 2 ordered. FYI local TRU in independence, MO still have around 20 greninja. limited 1 per guest. when it gone it gone forever! happy hunting to amiibo hunters :) I FINALLY get mine full wave 4. extremly happy :)
 
Stopped by a Fred Meyer at 7:00 this morning and had about 5 others in line, though no order.  First couple guys walked fast and got the only pair of Robin and Lucina available.  The rest of us slowly picked up what we wanted.  I ended up getting Silver Mario.

I went to the Tanasbourne Target store in Beaverton/Hillsboro, Oregon around 7:15 this morning.  Looked to be about 15 people in front of me.  Was able to get Jigglypuff which is all I wanted.  Ended up getting 2 of them.  They did ticketing and limited it to 4 total per person, with a limit of 1 per character.  This only applied to the first round.  After everything was allocated, they allowed others to buy more than 1 of a character if they wanted (still only 4 total per person).  They only had about 4 each of Robin and Lucina, but luckily I was able to get those via Walmart.com.

They even brought out water and fruit snacks for us.

Now I just need to make from trades for Ness & Greninja.

 
Successful day here, walked into GS around 11am est just to see what they had left, got silver Mario! Went to toysrus about 15 minutes later and scored one of the 3 greninja they had left! My wave 4 is complete!

Oh. My. God. We've all been under Jigglypuff's spell this entire time. How many of us spent how long trying to order her? 2? 3 hours? THAT ENTIRE TIME SHE WAS SINGING HER SONG.

Better find a mirror to be certain your face wasn't scribbled on.

 
Actually got through on Target.com for a Jigglypuff.

Just barely missed out on Robin and Lucina at TRU, but they had tons of Greninja.  No luck on Ness, Gamestop claimed they didn't get any when the lady in head of me in line at TRU has a son who worked at Gamestop and said they got three.  Guess the employees snatched those up.

 
You know what pisses me off?  By all rights, the Splatoon amiibos shouldn't even exist.  They do absolutely nothing but unlock DLC.  Yet my Best Buy was FILLED with them, literally a 1/3 of the Amiibo display..... including tons of the 3 pack.

Yet the ones that actually do stuff, based off established IP's that people do want...... fuck no.  They had 1 Pac-Man.  That's it.  And I was just barely able to find a Charizard from Wal-Mart.  I can't even get fucking Wario, let alone somebody like Greninja.  

I don't know what I bother with you Nintendo.  I really don't.

 
Almost time for Amazon. 

I only want Lucina and Robin.

I'd rather have other Fire Emblem characters like Volke and Oscar, Soren, Mia.
