I just bought Silver Mario, Splatoon 3 pack, Pac Man, Wario, and Charizard from Best Buy an hour ago.... Debating returning them though, I dunno just feel like I don't care anymore because I can't get a hold on Ness, Lucina and Robin. I'm debating selling my complete wave 1-3 plus sms series, but think I'll regret it.

Aside from Toad aren't all of those super common?

 
I had pretty much given up on looking for new ones. I work during normal business hours. I was just buying 1 of each for the kids. They didnt get upset when I gave up looking. I did get some pre ordered on Play Asia (ness, Lucina, Robin) for a July release. Pac Man, Wario, Charizard shipped from BB. I did get Silver mario ordered on Walmart. However anything else it's been fruitless. I just gave up and stopped caring because of the limited supplies and scalpers. If they get more in stock I would be happy.

***bonus note*** I guess more Little Mac's are coming in because I got a JP version on Amazon US for $23 a few minutes ago.

 
I picked up a silver mario at Toys around noon.   I still need a Greninja and then I'll be done this wave.  Luckily another Toys R Us says they have 30+ left.

Drove by 3 targets and realized that I was there too late (6). Each had 8 to 15 people. Went by Gamestop which had one person and they were going to have 3 Ness! I was pretty pumped! If only they had had Lucina and Robin. Got Ness and Charizard.

 
One Target has confirmed an order it won't be canceled, right? I got in a Jiggly and managed two at the store. Picked up one for my friend, but really want to open one as well. Assuming this extra is actually coming, I may just drop her Jiggly off tonight.

 
Toys r us had over 100 greninjas at 1220pm. At least here in sac


Was able to get 2 robins and lucinas today too at different stores. The only hard one is ness

So, seems not many are fighting for Charizard as much as Lucina and Robin.

Hell.. no one even talks about Wario or Pac-Man either in the past pages much lol. 

 
Early this morning, I went online when Jigglypuff was supposedly available on Target.com, tried for an HOUR to add to cart before I just gave up, I couldnt take it anymore so I called the Beverly Blvd Target in Los Angeles, its a City Target so its much smaller, decided to give it a try just to see what happens, I lose nothing in trying..they had PLENTY of Jigglypuffs and Silver Mario's available, this was around 10AM, they had no one in line, in fact NO ONE showed up to even purchase them..so I begged the manager to hold it for me and he did..they didnt have any Lucina or Robin's though, and I called TRU and they had 40 people in line so no purpose in trying to get a Greninja

The Target I went to the manager asked me "Do you want a Wario we have a box full of them" and I said NO, I already have it being delivered LOL poor Wario all lonely

 
it's been a busy morning (eastern time here). not really, just had to do some errands. 

my lucina and robin from walmart finally shipped! 

the specific gamestop i went to did a huge favor for me since they held a ness for me (long story short, they did a unofficial preorder prior release, i did not ask them in the first place. all i had to do was pay). i was able to pick up greninja as well. no issues. 

the rest will be coming into the mail. 

 
I went out on my lunch break to see how availability was around me.

Target - 1 Splatoon Squid Girl, said they received 1 case of Jigglypuffs that lasted a few hours.

Best Buy - 2 Pac-Man, 5 Silver Mario

Gamestop - Pac-Man, Silver Mario, Squid Girl, Squid Boy.  Not sure how many since they were in a box behind the counter at the foot of the cashier.  She said they received 2 Ness figures for pre-orders.

After debating on the Silver Mario one, I didn't pick up any of those.  If I was getting the Splatoon ones, I would want the 3-pack.  I'll have to hope I can manage to get some from Amazon.  I think I want the two Fire Emblem ones for Code Name S.T.E.A.M., but with an old 3DS XL, I need a peripheral to use them, is that right?  I don't have a TRU near me, or else I would have been interested in Greninja.

The only other one I was really hoping for was Ness for my girlfriend, but I figured that wouldn't happen after their system imploded during pre-orders. 

On the bright side, this limited supply is really saving me some money.

Except Gamestop took no INSTORE pre orders. Everything was WIS and would have been in a seperate box with that persons name on it. This same shit happened @ my GS too. I called every day since Monday asking how many Ness they were getting along with R & L. It was 2/1/1 for M-W.

Yesterday when i call the #s dropped to 1 Ness and no R/L. I still got the 1 Ness, but 2 hours of waiting id hae liked to gotten all 3.

 
I was surprised how busy some of the off topic stores were. My local Fred Meyers had Robin and Lucina, but sold out in 10 min of opening and only have PAC-Man and splatoon left.

lucky day for me so far went in with low expectations, pacman wario & chiziard are on my porch, Greninja & silver mario are in my truck, 2 jiggs are on the way from target and hopefully tonight I can cap it off with a Robin & lucina from amazon

 
So is Target ever going to post Marth today? I know they were supposed to post Jigglypuff this morning but it just never happened(The glitch in the site this morning was unbearable) so I just need Marth from Target.com since they wont be posting lucina or robin

 
I am at toys r us now and they have extra silver mario and wario. Is somebody wants I can buy for them and trade for something I need, such as sealed toad,mega man, captain fox or samus. Let me know asap, otherwise I will leave

I went after Target, so I got there at around 8:20. There were 9 people already there, but the TRU had 12 each of Lucina and Robin.

Edit: Like I said, I was lucky.

Wow, silver (metal) mario seems to be in stock at Walmart still. Its been over an hour. Seems it will be common (as far as amiibos go). Hoping I can grab a Lucina this afternoon from Amazon. Only one I'm interested in.
 
I have no issues with resellers selling the item when they have it IN HAND.

It's these re-sellers that are selling pre-orders that are not even in their possession that I have an issue with.

Here is why I don't have a problem with it.

Take silver Mario for example.  It's selling for $33 on ebay. 

So ebay makes roughly $3.30 on the sale

Shipping costs is roughly $2.50 - $3.00

Paypal takes it's 4% so there's $1.32

Cost of the box, shipping materials including bubble wrap is around $1.50

The amiibo itself cost them $14.75 - $14.99 after tax

So they made roughly $9 and sat in line for at least an hour to get it, plus the time going to the store, plus gas, plus the time listing the ad, plus the time to package it.... and you are going to complain that they are selling something for over double the cost retail?

If anything, they are almost breaking even doing YOU a favor.  In some cases they are LOSING money if they are selling it for $25 or less.
