For those that enjoyed mini mario in previous releases, amiibo challenge is a really solid game. I was very surprised, because I didn't have very high expectations.

Provided you have the necessary amiibo to unlock all of the content, there's hours of content. And the difficulty curve seems just right. A bit of a challenege, but not rage inducing.
 
I like that you only control one character at a time in this version. Controlling multiples in the others would always drive me insane eventually. Is there any other you control only one or is this the first?
 
I apologize if this has been covered b/ will purchasing AC amiibo cards get you a code? I have all of the amiibo b/ want a code for a 3ds and Wii U. Only bought series one cards b/ wld buy a 2 and 3 pack for codes. Thanks
 
Yes on Amazon you'll get a code when you purchase a pack of cards.

Been a while since I pre-ordered amiibo from BBY ... can they be pre-ordered via the in-store kiosk? If so, is it a minimum $5 down or do you need to pay the full amount up front?

So buying an amiibo is the only way to get the code at this time?  Also can it be any store?  I'm about to purchase a few amiibos for family members want to make sure I get the code out of it.

You're supposed to get codes from Best Buy, Amazon, and Gamestop. So far, Gamestop has been the most consistent with the promo, and you'll get a code on your receipt if you're buying in-store. Not sure if Amazon/Best Buy is working properly, I think people reported it wasn't working at first.

Otherwise, I'm sure there are plenty of codes floating around here, Reddit, or Twitter.

 
If anyone has an extra code, I'd appreciate it if you could send it my way. Just haven't been able to head to the store and buy an amiibo or anything.

Target has the pads with code flyers sitting on the shelf. I basically took a pad and have been giving codes to everyone on here.

Interesting. Wonder why Nintendo chose not to market the fact that Target has them, perhaps that's an extra buy-in on the retailer's behalf? These things always make me wonder.

I checked three Targets, only one of them have it hanging above the amiibos. Really weird why they don't just leave it out.

Probably because if they did that one guy would probably grab the whole pad to share with people on the internet, leaving none for their customers.

 
It's just a code to get early access to get the Mini Mario & Friends amiibo game. It will be free to download for everybody else on April 28th.

Unrecognized means it's for the other system. So if you're entering on the 3DS and get that message that means it's a code for the Wii U and vice versa.
