With AmiAmi, keep in mind that if you get to the shipping quote stage of the order, then change your mind and want to cancel part of it or the whole thing, you can. They officially say you can't, but all you have to do is e-mail them about the order and ask to cancel (one or all of the items). They'll do it and just tell you not to ask again.

I've done it once with no problem. I have heard of people cancelling multiple times, but I'm not sure if they have any repercussions if you do it a lot.

As they mention on the site, always remember that unregistered SAL is a risk: if it gets lost or something happens to it, you're screwed. No tracking or insurance. It's the tradeoff for the low price. Just bumping it up to registered SAL may be good enough, but if you want to take absolutely no chances, go for EMS.

I order things on a regular basis throughout the year with unregistered SAL and have never struck out once, but I'm comfortable with it since it's relatively low cost items I know I could always just re-order.

No. I would do one to one and that's it. There is evidence more Foxes are coming (the Nintendo consumer certificate date) and there are definitely more Falcon coming; the last page of this thread is the proof you need. No reason to pay an up charge at this point.

If it was for Little Mac, yes. Any other figure except the expensive wave 1 figures? No.

I would do it. Both are not "ultra rare". I still see fox popping up online, at TRU and last week my local GS got a few more in. Same with Falcon, still making itself available in store and online. So make the trade for something you don't have and the cash and you can look at it and think "it's like only paying a few bucks for him after that trade"

For that matter, I sold a regular old DS back after the DS lite had come out for near what I paid for it. Usually as long as you don't wait super long and still have the box and innards, you can get a decent amount return on it.

Same thing last year, sold a launch 3DS that still had the box for $160 after my fiance and I got a Zelda 3DSXL for $150 on black friday. Actually made money on that one in comparison...

If you can wait to sell during the Christmas season, you'll not have much trouble selling. I also sold my launch Vita this December for $170, since I imported a pink slim model from Japan. *shrug*

Nintendo DIrect in 1 hour. Looks like the N3DS and Majoras Mask have pretty much been leaked for a Feb 13th release date. Im sure those will be the focus but curious to see what they say on the amiibo side.

 
Pit was available to back order on Amazon just moments ago, but when I tried to order it it just said there was nothing in my cart every time I clicked to order it. It did say that you would be getting it on the 21st of January. It was such a tease as it has already been removed.

If both MonHun4 and MM drop next month that will be a huge shock. MonHun was expected for March and MM being speculated as fitting into that April/May slot. Would be a "nice" surprise but they could just have them on those posters to promote the big games of the spring.

but the certificate for falcon hasn't updated since early November. I think any falcons that are going to stores now is just left over stock from that printing. Fox has a much better chance of coming back than falcon

Yeah. MM was announced for spring which wouldnt be until the end of March at the earliest, but we will see. Retailers also put up a release date of Feb 13th on the MM collectors edition guide.

 
I don't see why people think Fox would get restocked any time soon. He has no current games and only a rumor of a Star Fox for WiiU coming sometime in the next 2 years. In the scheme of things he's as unimportant as any Fire Emblem characters IMO.

Got my Toysrus Pit and Captain Falcon that was part of the cancel, no we're sorry, cancel, ah just take them for free fiasco.  Honestly surprised I got them.  Also, confirmed my Fox, Wii Fit Trainer and Villager are in transit so I can sit back for a few weeks until the next wave gets released.  Whew, Wave 1 and 2 tired me out!

Wow wow wow.  Those MP ones are awful and Boweser looks like the Smash one.  The Smash ones (other than Pac) are hot.  Where's the link?  I forgot about it and can't find where to watch it now!
