I'm not able to collect many Amiibos, but I did get Fox in the mail from Best Buy today. If I wasn't going to open it, I would have been pissed...the box was all bent and scuffed up like crazy. :/

and what 5000 are going to buy that? The only reason it sold out so fast is because resellers saw "limited" and bought it up. No one is going to pay more for it on ebay and the resellers will return them and they will sit on shelves.

 
So I called bestbuy today about my little mac that was never sent. They told me they will reship it and it will arrive Feb 19th, so maybe they are expecting more stock on that date or they hold a few back for mistaken orders. They did the same thing with my smash bros wii u bundle that they never shipped, they were able to reship me a new one a month later.

Guess what, those resellers are "somebody" and they bought it. Doesn't matter to 2K anything beyond that and they're probably making $100 on each one.

You seriously think if its truly 5000 worldwide, they dont have enough fans that would buy that? There are other games outside of Nintendo

It definitely matters to 2K and every other game publisher. They saw how fast it sold out at $400 and wanting some more of that pie, will release their next super Limited CE at $500 and see how well that sells. It's only going to get worse with these high priced CE's.

 
Got an email from Best Buy too, though only Toon Link shows the 2/1 date for me. Sonic and Mega Man are still just placeholder dates
 
Getting back on Amiibo talk, why isn't Mario in his MP10 box pose? And what color base does the Toad have in the bundle? Still MP10 red?

(And just a Borderlands aside, I can't imagine that game's popularity will last long enough for that CE to increase in value.)

 
My Fox came today from Best Buy. I'm glad I was planning on opening it anyway because the package was damaged at the top. First time I've ever received a damaged product from Best Buy. Probably was damaged because the box was barely big enough to hold it.

I want to pull the trigger on WFT, but the shipping is almost the cost of the figure.

I have a pending order on Amazon.it. This gives me hope that maybe it will be in stock soon. It's on the same order of my Rosalina.

why is that holy crap, villager is not that hard to get in other countries and it's frequently going in and out of stock.
 
While we keep waiting for Wave 4 and Super Mario pre-orders, does anyone have a link to Amazon's listing of the GameCube adapter? When I search Amazon I get several different listings and I am not really sure which one to check for the one sold by Amazon themselves
