I just got this for my Zelda pre-order. Said it's going to be delayed until 1-13-15.

I don't understand how you can't fulfill pre-orders. The only thing I can think of is that Nintendo shortchanged amazon.

I guess I should feel lucky that they sent me my Marth pre-order.

No in stores, they were split up to be released later this month. Online places were taking preorders, but I don't know who still is.

My guesses for this next set is Luigi will be the Zelda, and Cap and Pit will be the low quantity ones. I can see Luigi being a character they try to keep in constant stock.

Be careful, read the email again - they will cancel the order if they don't find stock for you by 1-13-15, not that it will be shipped then. (Unless you got a different email then I did, but the date is the same).

 
These Zelda delays people are getting have me thinking I should have bought one when I was at TRU. I thought they'd be easy to get at Best Buy since TRU had 40+.

 
Just pre-ordered shulk. Guessing it's going by a store by store basis. Get it while you can! Call your local gamestops and ask!
 
So amiibos are region free?  Anyone here gotten any of the foreign ones that are easier to find and still be able to use them on their Wii U?

Well, I am going to hold out hope that Captain Falcon and Pit will come whenever wave 2 part 2 is released (as Amazon did ship Little Mac and Diddy Kong), and I guess I'll go out and find a Zelda since they sound plentiful.

My Best Buy is a tri-county store we only received one box of Amiibos. 

Which included

5 Zelda's 

2 Diddy's

1 Kirby

1 Little Mac

But the our systems would not let us sell Mac, Zelda or Diddy. My Nintendo rep was in store and said they should be able to go out and attempted to call (someone) to notify them that our systems were not letting us sell the 3. My system is showing they are street dated. She also said there will be more villagers, WFT and Marths ( but im not holding my breath) they are just having a problems with production. Which i know is the case with Luigi since we actually have the correction notice. 

Zelda and Diddy for the 17th

Mac for the 19th.

I do not know if this is the case for all Best Buys. But it was the case in mine. I left them in the back for now since i did not want to disappoint anyone. I recommend checking your local stores perhaps daily till this issue is fixed.

 
I pre-ordered two Shulk amiibos in-store today, didn't see they went oos online. My Toysrus had 3 macs, 3 diddys, and one zelda but they were all behind the counter on hold. Best buy had a few Zeldas out, no sign of the others. No wave 2 at Gamestop, or Target. Target had a spot for a Luigi amiibo and said as advertised lol.

 
I haven't gotten a cancellation notice about the rest of my wave 2 preorder from Amazon. But, I did have Amazon (via chat) tell me that my entire order (minus Diddy) was back-ordered. Hours later, Little Mac is preparing for shipment. With Diddy and Mac being the only two shipping, I assume Amazon isn't fulfilling the rest of the wave 2 preorders outside of the very, very first to order them. To think I was dumb enough to feel safe. I preordered in October from Amazon. So much wasted time, I could have preordered anywhere else and had them.

And to those who were wondering, I did preorder Rosalina from target yesterday night. That being said, who knows if it was an error that it was even listed. Today, my preorder was cancelled via email. I'm guessing i'm not the only one who got in on it though, because there are multiple resellers on ebay selling their Rosalina preorders for $100+.

 
Had to pick up a Little Mac from Target (The LAST one) and The LAST Zelda from a Gamestop yesterday. Went to a target this morning where the had about 7 Diddys left. almost lost my mind when I saw that Pit and Falcon were out, since I arrived when the doors opened.....til the manager told me the never got Pit and Falcon, someone accidentally put out the price slips. These are LA and Chino stores, btw....I do a lot of driving from LA to Chino...

 
Why doesn't target announce the day and time that the preorder for Rosalinda will be available? This is stupid.

I think you're just out of luck on Zelda, which should hopefully be easy to find. I think that email grouped everything into 'We can't fulfill it' when that's not the case, especially since no one has Pit/Falc/Luigi.

Because its just one item out of the thousands they sell they could care less about giving anyone a heads up. People will buy them regardless. Im not too worried by the time february is here we should know how many our store is getting and ill plan my shopping trip the day before
 
I've been to a few Targets, TRUs, BBYs and GSes and all of them have said something along the lines of "we only received 1-2 of those figures". I find it kinda funny that the common Wave 1 figures seem to be so much more plentiful than anything from Wave 2. I get the feeling Wave 2's official release date is probably why most stores haven't gotten them.

Laughing, because most of the posts here are making so many panic. And this has leaked a crap storm beyond CAG. Hence, creating false rumors.

Depressed, because I was interested in these. I told my sister about them. She said "okay bro."
Followed by "They have some cool ones."

Goes to show, how this is getting out of hand. Half of the people here are already getting ulcers from all the stress.
 
Best Buy has 1 Diddy, and 1 Zelda for me. I'm supposed to get 2 Diddy. If I dont get my 2nd Diddy....

These streetdate, and this whole amiibo release has been a clusterfuck.

No kidding. Maybe the fervor will die down a little by then, but by looking at this thread and a few others elsewhere, the whole Amiibo thing is getting a little scary. I open most days and always on Tuesday (to set up new releases) so hopefully we'll get enough (we won't) so I don't hateful glares the rest of the day or have to politely ask the man loading up his cart with them to only take one.
