I just went to a Target that didn't have them. I had a rep check out stock at other ones and only 1 out of 10 stores in the area had them labeled as in stock. Called them and said they didn't have it in stock. Looks like I'll have to go to the store and check it myself

 
trying to figure out if my local TRU has any of the 3 from today in stock... but they refuse to answer the phone !!! Argh ... Id hate to go all the way for nothing !

 
My local Toys R Us had too many Zeldas to count (looked like 8-9 pegs full) and only 8 each of Little Mac and Diddy. For comparison, the same store had 4 Villagers, 4 Marths, and 8 WFTs in Wave 1. I'd expect WFT level rarity for Diddy and Mac - but they should not be as hard to get as Marth.
 
Just to recap people are definitely finding these at Target and TRU.  Did anyone find them at BBY?  Wonder if GS will be selling them today as well.

 
Before I go off to target...are Amiibos considered video games or toys? For the wandering around looking for them part, I mean.

 
Also I don't know if it's any indication of rarity but they only had four Little Mac two Diddy Kong but had 15+ Zelda when I went a half hour ago

what side of the country are you guys finding these, im in new jersey and havnt found anything at any store i have checked.

 
Called two Targets in my area (Milwaukee) and they said they're not stocking what they have of Wave 2 until Sunday. However, I managed to pick up a Little Mac from my nearest Gamestop today. When I asked how many he had gotten in of each, he said he "couldn't disclose that information". Toolbag.

 
My local Target was sold out of Pit, Little Mac and Diddy Kong. Walmart hasn't put any out yet. Just called my Toys R Us, and they only have Diddy left.

went back to the target that had diddy and zelda out early to pick up diddy. unfortunately, they didnt put diddy back on the shelf (they put it in a shopping cart after they told me they couldnt sell it to me yesterday). didnt have enough time to ask an employee to look for it since i had to go to work. hopefully, its still there when i get back home

Just returned from the Franklin, TN Toys R Us. I bought Little Mac, Zelda, Diddy Kong. They have plenty of Zeldas but limited stock of Diddy and Little Mac

 
Wow Diddy is the rare one. BBY got two in but 8 of LM. Haven't gotten then of the truck yet. All the GS around here are out already as is TRU. Gonna try Meijer and Target now.

Wow ! Im so glad I took the chance and walked over a mile in 35 degree weather to my local TRU.

They had a ridiculous amount of Zelda. Easily like 50+. ... And quite a few each of Mac and Diddy. Id guess maybe a dozen of each of those two.

Got all 3 and the 40% worked in store on them. Now to go back Sun for the others :)
 
Gamestop in town had one mac and one diddy extra and no zelda. Want to check toysrus and best buy first and hope they have them or they are left at gamestop if I cant find them
 
Went back to TRU after lunch with a co-worker and in three hours my TRU sold out of their entire allotment of Diddy Kong and Little Mac (they got 8 of each). Definitely think these two will be on the fast track to discontinuation.

 
Grabbed the last Mac and Zelda at my GS. Fiancee's out to grab a Diddy from the TRU closest to us. Saying they have 8 on the floor.

At least this'll give me a shot at seeing if Best Buy's in-store pickup pre-orders will pull through on Sunday. Even not, I'll be covered for these three.

 
Local TRU got 8 Little Mac, 4 Diddy, and a lot of Zelda.

Somebody had bought a couple LM and two Diddy were gone. My wife grabbed me two Diddy's and two Little Mac's!
 
This is getting maddening.  How many people (CAGs included) are getting these to actually own and how many are hoarding them up to resell? Stupid news outlets shouting at the top of their lungs that everything is "rare/discontinued" just pushes the demand even higher.  I won't get a chance to get out today to grab some and I couldn't pre-order either.  Will be a bit perturbed if the 20+ stores in my area all sell out before tomorrow - my local GS that usually gets extra things said they only got enough for PO's (besides Zelda).

None of these are rare. Everyone needs to stop trying to fund their purchases with trying to buy this for resell purchases. If everyone is going to try to resell them, how much money do you think you will make?

Well, now that we have evidence that some are being discontinued and Lucario went out of stock just a few days ago, I just bought four Lucarios, 1 to keep, 3 to sell.
 
I personally get them for collecting. The idea of finally having my own Smash Brothers trophy shelf is insane to me. Certainly gets rough trying to get in and out unscathed with the stock market this is becoming. I'd be screwed on Marth right now if it weren't for a friend of mine passing through some middle-of-nowhere Walmart.

I think Marth and Villager might be the only real, rare ones. The rest, I feel like people are getting paranoid... exactly what Nintendo wants.
