Well, they do store data and whatnot. They're not just figures. But yea, the amiibo virus is expensive to contract.

 
Stopped by 2 Targets today. One had Diddy as the only wave 2 that was in stock (had 4 left). The other Target said they had Little Mac based on the inventory checker but when the guy scanned the barcode using his PDA, it showed 0 in the back.

Same way when I was at TRU and saw the little macs. Little mac was so tiny compared to the other amiibos that I couldn't justify getting him.

Hopefully but not necessarily. I think when it switched from not available to pre-order it was like 6 AM EST based on the posts. I need I had checked after 1 AM EST that night before going to bed and it hadn't changed at that point.

 
Caved and bought Marth on play asia. These amiibos are killing me financially :(

Lucario is the only wave 3 amiibo I missed out on peordering. Hope he is easy to track down on launch...

Wouldn't surprise me with the luck I've been having.

The Missing Villager which was mere miles from my house at a usps sorting facility on Friday has now gone off the grid and was last seen in Iowa Sunday night... I live in NC.

Well, I've done all the sitting and waiting I care to do tonight. If I end up missing out and someone that gets an extra will sell to me at cost, you would be the greatest.

 
my best buy pre-orders from 12/07 b2g1 for diddy and zelda just went into preparing for shipment for me, no movement for mac or the other 3. according to emails from BBY they have a release date of 12/30

im guessing these "release date has changed" emails from best buy are accurate at least for amiibos that are being shipped

got these for diddy and zelda, first a 12/14 date email then a 12/17 date and they are finally shipping, they sent me an email for little mac showing a 12/19 so im expecting that to ship then.

any other BBY pre-orders ship for anyone recently?

 
I started digging through some of the elements on the page and saw what was a start date of 12/26/14.  Not sure if this is relevant or not, but it may be a sign that we've all been wasting our F5's over a week early.

These are a backup to my bestbuy.com preorders though. I've just seen more action on the shelves at TRU than I have on my wave 2 order from BB so it made sense to (panic) preorder them.

Plus having an extra lucario for trades isn't a bad thing.

I have an order w/ Zelda and Captain Falcon. Zelda's moved to preparing, Falcon is still waiting.

That's good detective work. Makes sense too, because I would imagine the Free Shipping offer that Target is running now would expire near/after Christmas. That would get them off the hook for having to ship out all of the orders for free.

My BB preorder shows that Diddy and Zelda are ready for pick up.  The email I got says I can pick them up tomorrow.   No action on Little Mac, which is scary.

Your Mac pegged for the 19th or some other date? My order shows Zelda and Diddy ready for pickup now, and Mac's ETA on Friday.

Anyone know off the top of their heads how long you have to pick up an order at BB? I'm not sure I'll keep these one since I already found them elsewhere. Dunno if I can cancel in store or if I should just let them atrophy or some shit.
