I bet they cant legally charge you for something coming out soon ie pit or falcon but with pre orders far out they can because they arent charging you till it ships so you have time to cancel it if you want
 
Got the TRU email as well, apparently my Pit and Lucario have been reinstated, mobile app won't let me log in, so can't check right now. Since I was able to reorder them I'll probably just cancel the duplicates.
 
Mine have been reinstated as well, but it's still showing as "cancelled" online.  Also only one of my two orders (the Lucario) has been covered in that e-mail, not sure if I'll get another e-mail for the second one (which had been placed much later).

I'm getting TRU reinstatement emails in at this very moment.  As a side note, anyone in the Phoenix area that has amiibo fever like I have (bought too many, am obsessing over them, keep them sealed, uber nerd crap) please send me a message as I'm trying to form a small community that we can do fair trades and such.

funny, many Japanese imported Amiibo starting popping up in my area. Also, those hard to find Captain Falcon and Diddy Kong Amiibo seemed to coming from California, Hawthorne, Baldwin Park, Lakewood, Hollywood, etc. Shame!
 
Got an email saying my order was reinstated, but it still shows up as cancelled on site. Maybe it just takes a bit to update on the order page.

Got the email that mine couldn't be reinstated, it only had a Lucario and Bowser in it from the buy 1 get 1 40% off. It was paid for partially with a gift card and partially with a credit card.
 
there are a few CAG's from Hawthorne and Baldwin Park. I wonder if they will come out from the darkness and reveal themselves. A lot of mysterious posts on craiglists. Frank and Sons, what a joke and rip-off.

Same here.

My two '2 for $22' pre-orders of Bower, Toon Link, & (x2) Sheik from this past Thursday got re-instated but my (x3) Lucario order from TRU's 'B2G1 Free' deal on Black Friday did not. :'(

Omg I have no idea if anyone else got the same email so instead of reading the past page or two I'm going to just post and hope I help no one. Toys R Us just sent me an email saying my order for 30x Lucarryo was just reinstated. Here's what they said:

FYI I am joking, I've read every post from page 80 and on, this thread is awesome, entertaining, informative, and more. My email for my 1x Lucario is true though, it was reinstated. I paid via credit card to be shipped to my home.

Thank you for the person who posted before saying Little Mac was back in stock on Amazon, my order shipped and it'll arrive via Prime on Monday already! And also thanks for all those that posted about Captain Falcon at targets on Friday. I called two Targets and they didn't have em, I waited a couple hours and called another and they just opened the shipment box with Diddys and CFs. When I arrived the Diddys were gone but I got CF so i was still happy. This was at the Union City Target in the Bay Area.

If anyone in the Bay Area is up for a trade, message me and let me know what you have. I'm really looking for the Big 3 and Pit. I'll be posting my trade list soon in the proper place on the forum. Also does anyone want to team up? If I find the figure you need I'll buy it for you and hopefully you find what I need. Message me too and well exchange info. Good luck amiibo hunters! I paid with credit card, with the canceled Lucario as part of the buy-1-get-one-40%-off sale, and I got the email which states that it couldn't be legally reinstated.

In case anyone is trying to make rhyme or reason of the reinstated VS. not reinstated situations.
 
I haven't gotten a cancellation email for my 2 in store or 1 online order with TRU. Not sure if I should worry about it or Not. In store order was Tuesday and online was Friday.
 
I pre-ordered Pit after all the cancellations. Wondering if they'll still honor that order if they are reinstating some that were cancelled. The people's orders that were cancelled should be honored before mine honestly. I guess we'll see.

 
Wtf, I got the email too but they said they legally cannot reinstate my order but that they will notify me within the week of another way to reorder them.

 
I got the "cannot reinstate order" e-mail. I had only pre-ordered Sonic and Ike at the buy-1-get-1-40%-off deal. I've already pre-ordered at Gamestop instead, so while I'll miss the savings, nothing too tragic.

But, a friend of mine who had ordered two Pits got the "cannot reinstate" too, unfortunately. He'd also gotten a bunch of others, but it was all the first 2nd Wave stuff and already shipped.

We were both using PayPal.

I got the "reinstatement email". Had an order of two Lucario. My order was via credit card.

Preordered two in store the day I got the original cancellation email.
 
I got the email which means I now have 2 Pits preordered. I'm open to trading. Depending on how rare he turns out to be, I am in need of a Wii Fit Trainer.
