Those are pre-orders. Pretty much every non-common figure that shows up in their site are for pre-orders.

They actually said they didn't have any preorders at that location, but who knows. That's why I got antsy. Either way, think I might just be chancing Best Buy on this one. I've got zero interest in venturing into pre-Christmas Eve traffic right now.

 
Woohoo. Being a regular pays off. My store had exactly one Pit and are gonna hold it for me till tomorrow (Cant make it tonight as I'm halfway across the country)

When I got my Rosalina & Luma pre-ordered on Dec. 17th, the limit was set at 3 per order.

Really? I didn't know that. In that case, how did they sell out of them so fast while all the others have been so readily available for the longest time?

I guess Rosalina is either more popular than the others or she's just in short production, or both.

 
Damn it! I step away from the computer for a couple of minutes and miss Captain Falcon just like that. If any CAGs get an extra that they don't mind letting go of, feel free to send me a private message!

I think Rosalina looks like a great amiibo and is 1 of my top amiibos I must have

 
Every single Gamestop that showed they got some in I called said the same. Either pre-order or they are holding them for other people. Lol I called about 20 places

Cool np, PM if you want.....I actually found a Pit during my lunch in an El Segundo Gamestop near the 405 Freeway. I'll be hunting through the 30th til I find a Capt. Falcon. God Speed, brother.

Yeah. Interesting. Would be nice if they did that, I don't really care too much about the reselling value as much, but I agree with what's been said that if they had NOT mentioned the word "discontinued" or the "3 amiibros" weren't a "thing" then you know darn well this thread would be 55 pages and 30 of those pages would be people trolling those of us who were collecting these anyway. But because there WAS a shortage, we're at 500+ pages and counting! ;)

60 miles + 4 Targets = 16 Captain Falcon, all sold on eBay by noon today for $30 each!  AND THEN I found a dollar on the ground and QUADRUPLED my CF profits for the day [after fees/gas/calling out from work]!!!!

THIS GUY is getting a free cup of coffee tonight!

Well I ain't reordering Pit from toys r us. Got my diddy kong from them today and they're a bunch of assclowns when it comes to packaging. Instead of laying it flat, they packaged it sideways and bent the shit out of it.
