The business is owned by Herman Schreiber. Schreiber and many of the store's employees are observant Satmar Hasidic Jews who close the store on Shabbat and Jewish holidays except for Hanukkah (Jewish law does not prohibit work during that holiday, except during Shabbat itself). The Web site remains open, but orders are not taken or shipped between Friday evening and Saturday evening and on Jewish holidays.[2][3] The store employs hundreds of Orthodox Jews and has been accused of discriminating in their favour.

Thanks for the suggestion.

It turns out that I was essentially using the wrong view. I was on a tablet, struggling like crazy for almost ten minutes. But to checkout, I had to move to Desktop View. That's an unusual situation that I had not personally encountered before.

I hope it goes through...
 
They charged my PayPal account immediately. Hope it went through, buy I have a hard time believing they had stock left when I was fifteen minutes late to the party.

This was my train of thought as well. After seeing TRU add Villager back to their site, and some of the other retailers keeping them up there, I figured this was the best indication we had of a potential restock.
 
The fact that they specifically listed MTV makes me think it might be legit. But it could also mean that they never received them so they just think they're gonna get some with Wave 3.

I wasn't meaning to be a smartass though I realize now it may have come off that way. I said that because I noticed on my own order that it made me punch in my zip before I could proceed to the payment options page.
 
Random update.

Talked to the guy at the local Gamestop and he said they received a shipment of Amiibos last Wednesday. Also said they were of figures they already had.

 
Nintendo World's gonna start getting amiibos shipments against starting monday. Just an FYI for anyone in NYC that you can prob pick up the wave 2 rares 

 
Ordered the three amiibros and Little Mac. Would have gotten Dedede but that one charges shipping. Already have Pit from TRU and Ike is pre-ordered with Walmart.

Edit: Also had Dedede with walmart, so all good here but anyone who wants to get it from there should know that one charges shipping.

Guys check your order numbers. The last four digits to see what place in line you are in. The earliest one so far seems to be 66XX. Mine is 6850 is I guess I'm screwed out of getting my Marth, but maybe you guys will have better luck!

You weren't coming off that way. And I wondered if I should have said more so that "Thanks for the suggestion" sounded genuine and not sarcastic.

I just signed up here recently (very) and I was pretty sure if I shared my question that someone might be able to help me out with at least a suggestion or two. It was a VERY frustrating ten minutes of trying to figure out why I couldn't order!

I took Bowser off my order for that reason. I had all the other wave 3 stuff preordered from other places but somehow forgot him. Not gonna pay that shipping cost though.

Im not sweating Bowser too much, but if he does turn out to be a "rare" at least I have some trade material to barter for one.

They are still taking orders, so I doubt it's that limited...

Plus you are not taking into account the non-amiibo orders. Everyone was backed-up until that time.
