The same here. It's currently pending a deposit back of the $28.97 but I've yet to receive a cancellation email or anything. Oddly enough, I'm still getting their newsletters and a survey for the order. Who knows what's going on. Only ordered 1 Marth and 1 Villager.

I posted this on January 6th:

Today I received 2 Pit Amiibo from TRU.  This was the original order that was canceled back in December.  My $999.99 re-order was canceled [Pit and Falcon].  I had received no tracking number, no shipping info, they simply showed up today.

Then Today:

UPS just pulled up  and left the Pit and Falcon that I ordered through the whole $999.99 thing.  Again, no shipping notice, no conformation after the cancellation, they simply showed up.  

BTW, TRU: Keep It Up!

We knew that buying internationally or scalped amiibo was a gamble. Nintendo themselves never confirmed that they would never reprint Marth, or any other characters specifically.

I bought a Marth from Japan, I knew when I bought it that this might happen. I can't get pissed at Nintendo for making money.
 
Tonight I'm doing the mass opening.  I'm going to open all of my Amiibos that aren't duplicates.  I have wave 1, 2 and 3 on the way and was planning on leaving them all in box, but I'm over it.  I'm opening them all up, selling my extra villager and marth and then not buying anymore except for the ones I want.  It's going to be Christmas.

Does anyone think that people are actually paying $200+ for the holy trinity on eBay?  It's hard to tell if they are actually getting paid for or not.  I'm always nervous to sell expensive things on eBay from past experiences with them.

 
Wait, just watched some of the latest Nintendo Direct. So apparently there will be Amiibo versions based on the game. So there will be a Smash Bros Mario amiibo (already out obviously) and a Mario Party 10 Mario amiibo. They will both work the same across all games though.

Not surprised Nintendo did this. Now we know there will be series of characters.

Just pick a series and collect and be finished. I already stated that once I get all of the SSB4 series line up I am finished with Amiibos forever.

I think they already stated they would do this from the beginning.
 
Can anyone give me an update on Ike at the moment? Any chance of getting a preorder in anywhere? Im planning on getting Code Name STEAM. Haven't been buying a ton of amiibos but after the announcement today I definitely want either a re-released Marth or an Ike.

I think I'm going to go the eBay route for my two extra villagers and Marth.  I didn't realize they were each selling for $100-$120.  If I can get that for all 3 of them I will have got all 29 Amiibos for free...except for all the time I've spent trying to hunt them all down at every hour of the night putting in order after cancelled order on them when they come in stock for a second.

Yes they are. Look at the ones on Amazon, the lower ones are UK or Japanese ones. Amazon has the same price for US sealed ones.

$94.99 is the lowest I see for a US Marth.
$143 is the lowest for a US Villager.

All we know is February. A lot of people have been going by the first since that's been a common date among retailers, but look at the wave 2 release.
 
TRU has a deal where you buy over $40 you get $10 off on Amiibos (Any figures). I called ahead and they had 4 Caption Falcons, I ended up getting all 4 for $49.01.

 
Finally got my Pit and C Falcon from TRU. strangely, their website hasn't updated my order that they've even shipped though.

by the wording of this i would say it wont be available until holiday 2015 late this year which mean if that the case probably become even hard to find again instead of being released in a slower season.
