No worries, I figured as much.

It's funny, I was the receiver for my store when the original Wii launched and man, THAT was a nightmare. When I wheeled them out I had to be escorted by security, LOL! This is a cakewalk in comparison. Surprisingly not many people have called or asked if we had any, and the few that have have been polite and understanding.

It's OT, but since they're down the same isle, the Trap Team shortages really suck too. We've got a ton of the blue traps and rarely see anything else. At least we're getting a fair amount of the Light/Dark sets finally.

Welp, if that Ness amiibo really is a K-Mart exclusive, here's the wonderful glory we'll have to deal with. Upon searching for "amiibo" on K-Mart's website, you get this. Not even a "no results found", just this. Their main video game splash page, which proudly states that they have all the "new release" games and consoles "available in store" and happily showcasing the 360 super slim and the Wii slim (which I don't even think is produced anymore). And yes, I was searching how to take a screenshot. I didn't know how lol.

I preordered all of wave 3 from GameStop just to be safe and so far all they have is Bowser. They told me the 17th for the rest, but also to take it with a grain of salt. They seem as frustrated as the customers at the shady shipping schedule.

Looks like I'll be waiting til who knows when for my Amazon preorders. I work Fridays and Shulk is the only one i've preordered from GS.

 
Like some previous posters, today I received an email from Amazon asking whether I wanted to keep my Toon Link pre-order open.

I opted to keep the order open, just in case.

As has been answered multiple times, if they are truly shipping to stores as we speak, you will be able to pick it up once it arrives because there is no street date. For almost every amiibo, the "release date" has been an expected arrival date which varies by store and location.

 
Anybody has any updates on Entertainment Earth Ike/Sonic/Mega Man/Dedede? Still showing "On Backorder" for me.

I really can't wait for this nightmare to end. :headache: Wave 3 has been the worst one so far with the exclusives being impossible to track down. Now even the regulars Ike/Sonic/Mega Man/Dedede are going to be pretty much impossible to find. Really hope my order goes through :pray: I had to buy Lucario off Ebay... really don't wanted to deal with TRU... Got my Rosalina. Really wanted 2 but I'm okay with one.

Have Shulk for Store Pick up [Only choice available at the time] & MK preorder standing by.

Out of I currently have 21/23 out right now. Missing Villager & Marth. If all goes through well with Preorders, I'll be out 27/29 US Versions :whee:  with Lucario being the only one that I payed more than retail for.

I stopped by again today. They still haven't found the box of Rosalinas. Apparently, it's become a big deal, management is reviewing security tapes, etc. So it sounds like maybe it was stolen. I'm surprised they're even investigating for $260-ish of merchandise, but maybe they're worried about repeat thefts.

As for the rest of Wave 3, my local Gamestop is saying they won't get Sheik, Toon Link, Ike, and King Dedede until 2/13, and Sonic and Mega Man on 2/20.

On Facebook I saw someone post a picture of boxes of Rosalina he found out by the dumpster at Target when he was looking for some empty boxes to take. Maybe it was that store ha ha.

I have used them in smash and I'm going to use them for mario party if I buy it, they don't have much yet to do though.

Beside hyrule warriors, smash and mario kart. I think when more games come out it will be discussed more.

This is nothing man. During the latest Target 50% off clearance. There was a Target by my house that showed 10 yoshi 3DS XL but they couldn't find them in store. Other local stores were missing multiple Wii Us and crap like that. I imagine the inventory people steal shit all the time or just don't scan properly which causes stuff to go missing. It's sad honestly. Retail inventory management is tough. When I worked for Apple we would have full boxes of MacBook Pros go missing all the time. The store would blame it on the shipping company (ups, FedEx, etc).

Bestbuy, target, toysrus stores employees going nuts and crazy all about amiibos Chaos. Walmart has nothing, most common amiibos, unless they release exclusive amiibo.

Already pre ordered shulk, metal knight, ike, sonic, and mega man. Kinda sad my local fye don't take waves 4 pre-order :(

Talked to a Gamestop clerk today. He said the Wave 3 Amiibos, including Shulk, are expected to arrive on the 13th, but if they receive their shipment sooner they are under no obligation to wait until the street date, and can (and at his store at least, will) begin selling them immediately.

 
How did you guys miss Wave 4 being available for preorder on Amazon.co.uk? Wario and Charizard are still available but Ness, Lucina, and Robin are sold out.

It's a pretty bad sign if the UK Amazon is selling out in under an hour.

That means it's going to be an instant sellout in America, click the instant it goes live and it's already too late, like Lightening Deals on Apple products. Pre-orders for this next wave are going to sell out so fast your head will be spinning, and more disgruntled collectors than ever before.
