In general though, Hefeweizens are very light wheat beers... which is why i was confused by your assertion of circus boy being very light. :)

Yeah it was a great game that really highlights how bad Detroit played. They really should have won one fucking more regular season game so we could have seen Verlander stick it to the Yanks twice.

Hopefully the Red Sox pull it out against the Halo's so we get a Red Sox/ Yankkes series. The Twins have no shot.

That guy charged me for this stupid led flashlight that was black with flames on it. I have no idea why he put that in with my purchase, but I got home, and was like, what is this ugly thing? Then I saw he charged me for it, and I was miffed. Not even so much that I got charged for something I didn't want, but that he seemed to feel I would want a black flashlight with flames on it.


We should meet up in the parking lot, shake hands, hold a newspaper out, and take a picture. ;)

Hell I wish I had Meijer after all the damn deals and broken street dates I read about that place.

Fry's are great for seeing electronics hands on and clearance, but I buy very little stuff there since I can just PM it.

Micro Center is really just like a low pressure bargain oriented Compusa. They are just now trying to push into gaming. Their used game prices reek, but you can put your trade-in $ towards anything in the store, which is nice. The run some competitive deals on HDTVs and laptops. Their PC component prices are frequently better than newegg. I can also almost walk to the one nearest to me from my townhouse, so I am partial.

With the MS points, forgotten games deals, and Beatles Rockband I've just asked someone to check gray plastic the overstock boxes near/behind the unused game register and bingo I find what I came in to get. The $35 Madden 10 was an easy pre-order pick-up deal. I would love them to do more of those.

You're my hero. They all treat me as if I'm some idiot with no idea what I'm talking about or looking for. I almost always get, "what kind of games do your kids/husband/boyfriend like?" I can't tell you how infuriating that is. I've been playing games since 1979, boyo. So I hardly ask anything of them any more.

It's why Murphy's Deli closed and Micheal Mink sold out his store- killing my premium import beer selection (trying to find Blackened Voodoo sucks now).
 
@ liquid: I was mostly kidding. The truth is, being in here is the most fun I have socially (exciting life that I lead and all...), so I do enjoy being able to be part of the conversations. Not the focus of them, but part of them.

Well, letting dudes hit on you on the internet isn't going to change things. Go out and do things. Join an organization or community group or club or sports/martial arts team or anything else.
 
I just bought a MS mouse at Target on clearance. It is, without doubt, the most uncomfortable mouse ever. I think it might technically be for left handed people, though it doesn't say anything on the box. Horrible.
