Budgemang - aren't you on a meal plan or something?
I am, and actually once I got out of class I went and got some breakfast. However, my meal plan only covers about one meal per day. Plus the cafeteria isn't open on weekends, so I am on my own then.

So I still need to have some food in the house to eat.

Not anymore. If I was, we'd totally come home with some daggers.
Is that how people are winning early copies of the game, Ugamer_X?
They gave copies to everyone who went.

No. They're giving away copies of the game to anyone who attends the events. They are giving away special editions of the game that come with a dagger to winners. There's only supposed to be like 50 copies made.

I think that's because Sorny took advantage of his assburgers and got him to work hundreds of hours building Little Big People levels in exchange for some games and t-shirts that cost them a dollar to manufacture.
Isn't Sony's whole marketing plan developed around taking advantage of kids with assburgers?
:applause:

That would explain the nutjobs buying a Go to play PSP ports of real console games at home with a Dual Shock 3 controller.

EDIT: Forgot about RetardPrime buying it because he thought it would natively play his pirated Divx movies.

Sony: The PSP Go supports .avi files.

LinkinPrime: I can't drag and drop my .avi files to the PSP Go! What gives?!

Sony: Oh, well, you have to run them through our program first.

Later...

Rocko: Some companies' wording on products is deceptive.

LinkinPrime: UR A MORON

Any of you guys get in on the $29.99 Live subs? Looks like it's dead for now - looking to split to save shipping.

Activision "didn't want Modern Warfare"
Tuesday 6-Oct-2009 10:58 AM "They wanted it to be World War 2. Again," reveals Infinity Ward

In what could've turned out be one of the biggest blunders in game business history, Activision originally did not want Call of Duty 4 to be a 'Modern Warfare' game, Infinity Ward has revealed.

Speaking in an interview with Official PlayStation Magazine, Infinity Ward boss Vince Zampella revealed that the developer has wanted to create a modern combat game - and work on consoles - for years, but Activision's held them back.

"With Call of Duty 2, we were dead set against it being World War 2," Zampella told OPM, "but Activision really wanted it, the compromise sort of being that we'd get some dev kits for consoles in exchange for doing a World War 2 game.

"We always wanted to be on consoles and Activision saw us as more of a PC developer," he said.

"And something I'll add to that, Activision also did not want Modern Warfare. They thought working on a modern game was risky and [thought], 'oh my god you can't do that, it's crazy!' They were doing market research to show us we were wrong the whole time," he said.

"We had to fight for everything," chimed in CoD project lead, Jason West. "They wanted it to be World War 2. Again."

Of course the publisher's risk in letting Infinity Ward go against the surveys paid off massively, and CoD 4: Modern Warfare ended up shifting over 14 million copies.

"It just blows us away. I'm still reeling from it," Zampella said of the success.

What if your roommate still lurks in here?

My local TRU hook up said that he thought there was only a 50/50 chance that they would stock Brutal legend.

I pre-ordered Uncharted 2 in prep for the b2g1.

Am I gonna hate Demon's Souls if I don't have friends? All the friend features sound really nice but nobody I know can be bothered by a fatlus game.
Is that game actually supposed to be good?
The first one is a classic. I don't know how it is going to translate to a console and I don't know how well the developer has progressed in the years since the first game came out, but they have a solid reputation.

Edit: They changed developers, I wouldn't waste my time until I see positive reviews.

IGN UK gave it an 8... I am a sucker for super realistic shooters, so I gotta try it. I have been meaning to get ARMA 2 also. That is the game the devs of the original flashpoint game went on to make.
