The old thread hadn't been updated in quite some time, so I decided to make a new one. If you happen to see a sale not listed in the OP, go ahead and post it and I will be sure it's added. The same goes for anything listed that has expired as most sales have no set time frame, let me know and I will remove expired sales. Thanks!

Nexomon is (you guessed it) a Pokemon clone that just launched. The game is free to play with ads, but the full game unlock which must be purchased in-game is only 99 cents right now:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.limeturtle.nexomon

Nexomon does not have controller support.

Mystic Guardian VIP is a traditional JRPG that is free down from $3.99:

Mystic Guardian is made by the people who created the idle clicker game Buff Knight.

This e-book Angelbound written by an author named Christina Bauer is free:

https://play.google.com/store/books/details/Christina_Bauer_Angelbound?id=zDLTDAAAQBAJ

And Incognito + Pro web browser is free:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.arsalanengr.incognito.browser.plus.pro&referrer=utm_source%3DBlog%26utm_medium%3DApp%26utm_campaign%3Dsale

This browser is great for use with Shield TV. I downloaded it over the weekend. Much faster than the Google Chrome app, and it doesn't have to be sideloaded.

The School : White Day (Android) $7.99 Free

Free for iOS too.
Huh. Link is broken, and I can't find it in the Google Play store. I wonder if it got pulled for some reason. Looks like it's the mobile version of the 2015 remake of White Day: A Labyrinth Named School that came out on ps4 last year. If anyone can still find it, the ps4 version was pretty great. Definitely worth playing.

Raw Fury is having a publisher sale across all platforms including its Android games on Google Play.

Dandara is $9.99 down from $14.99 (looks to be Shield TV compatible):

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rawfury.longhathouse.Dandara

Kingdom: New Lands is $4.99 down from $9.99 (also looks to be Shield TV compatible):

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nl.noio.kingdom

Kathy Rain is $1.99 down from $4.99:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rawfury.kathy

Although Dandara is expensive, it is a Metroidvania style game and it's the first time that it's been on sale.

I think the developer screwed up when they offered it for free for a limited time. They should have done it w/ the strikethrough thing that we normally see for temp freebies, instead they just made the app free permanently. So they had to remove old one and now they have a new one up.

Re-download notice to old users

This app page is for new users.

The users who purchased The School: White Day before April 30, 2018 can re-download the game from the link below. The existing game data and purchase history will be still usable. (The following link is only accessible to old users.)

interesting news that Steam is bringing their Link app to iOS and Android in a few weeks. Has the app on my Samsung TV and it worked pretty well for streaming games. But then got my TCL which doesn’t have it.

I have an Apple TV which I have a controller for but it will also work on phones and tablets with controller support.

https://9to5mac.com/...-soon-ios-tvos/

Article is about iOS but it is coming to Android as well as a beta.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.doragongames.danmakuunlimited3&referrer=utm_source%3DBlog%26utm_medium%3DApp%26utm_campaign%3Dfeatured_sale

Since it's a port of the game Indigo Prophecy that was on PC, PlayStation 2, and the original Xbox, Fahrenheit is the big draw this time.  This is the lowest it's ever gone.

More freebies on Google Play.

Night of the Full Moon is currently free down from $1.99:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ztgame.yyzy&referrer=utm_source%3DBlog%26utm_medium%3DApp%26utm_campaign%3Dnow_free

True Skate is also currently free down from $1.99:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.trueaxis.trueskate&referrer=utm_source%3DBlog%26utm_medium%3DApp%26utm_campaign%3Dnow_free

In other news, the Android port of indie game Stories of Bethem: Full Moon is now available on Google Play for $3.99 (no discount):

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.GuGamesDevelopment.StoriesOfBethemFullMoon

And finally, a PSA that the Android ports of Geometry Wars 3 and Sine Mora have been delisted from Google Play, so if you didn't buy them when they were available, you're SOL now.  But, they should be in your download history if you had already purchased them.

That is all.

Is stories of Bethem a free download that you pay to unlock the full game? Cause it just said install for me.
The Google Play page for Stories of Bethem says "Play the first dungeon for free and buy the full game with an unique payment if you like it to continue playing." So, I think that means you can play the first dungeon and pay the $3.99 to unlock the rest of the game.

Thanks for these posts! I love trying out new games!!
Best of all, games purchased on Google Play can be returned and refunded if they are uninstalled within two hours of purchase. So you can get your money back if you don't like them. That's my favorite feature. ;)

Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty is $1.99 down from $7.99:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.oddworld.NNT&referrer=utm_source%3DBlog%26utm_medium%3DApp%26utm_campaign%3Dfeatured_sale

And, developer Noodlecake has put a bunch of its games on sale.

The Bug Butcher is 99 cents down from $3.99:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.noodlecake.bugbutcher&referrer=utm_source%3DBlog%26utm_medium%3DApp%26utm_campaign%3Dfeatured_sale

Chameleon Run is 99 cents down from $1.99:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.noodlecake.chameleonrun&referrer=utm_source%3DBlog%26utm_medium%3DApp%26utm_campaign%3Dfeatured_sale

Island Delta is 99 cents down from $2.99:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.noodlecake.islanddelta&referrer=utm_source%3DBlog%26utm_medium%3DApp%26utm_campaign%3Dfeatured_sale

Shooting Stars! is 99 cents down from $1.99:

Invert - Tile Flipping Puzzles is 99 cents down from $2.99:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.noodlecake.invert&referrer=utm_source%3DBlog%26utm_medium%3DApp%26utm_campaign%3Dfeatured_sale

Chameleon Run and The Bug Butcher should be Shield TV compatible.

And, last but not least, 1849: Gold Edition is on sale for $2.49 down from $5.99:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=air.com.somasim.fortyninegold&referrer=utm_source%3DBlog%26utm_medium%3DApp%26utm_campaign%3Dsale

A couple of recent releases are on sale.

Death Squared is $1.99 down from $2.99:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.smgstudio.deathsquared

The Android Police review said the game is Shield TV compatible although it requires two controllers even in single player mode, so Shield owners should know that.  A rare case where touchscreen players will be better off.

Tactical Mind is $1.49 down from $2.99:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.drageusgames.tacticalmind

It's a strategy game ported from the Switch which is good since I don't plan to buy one until the inevitable Switch Lite/Micro/XL release.  (That will not be announced at E3.)

Thanks, guys! Someday I want to be like Bloomy in the Xbox Live thread and Frisky Tanuki in the PlayStation Network thread.

That's why I'm drinking milk. I already have stronger bones and teeth! ;)
