Finally got the silver axe to appear on the island, does anyone know how much longer its life is compared to the regular one or is it about the same?

 
Still open, only person who visited so far was Sychophantom.  Will definitely be going through at least a little after 7pm for the fireworks.  Not feeling great at the moment though so I'll probably close up shortly after.

I think I'm gonna stop putting stuff away back into storage after free for alls.  I mean, I already got the gold watering can so there really is no reason to, am I wrong?  And it'll save a ton of time and will allow me to just have my gates open all the time so people can come and go for free stuff.

Today, my island had both the Cabana and Mermaid floors.

I have an extra mermaid floor up for trade. Depending on how long I feel like slogging through a crap tour selection, I may also have an extra Cabana floor for trade.

 
The lovely phone actually dials an "automated" version of Katrina.

Got all the Redd items now, plus some extras. Now to get those hats/bopper items.
 
Darn, I can't craft the lovely phone with ruby ore. I know it's not "officially" part of the lovely series, but now it won't match the rest.

And now that I know that you can get all of the fireworks either from Isabelle or as dud prizes, I won't have to buy them all week.
 
Yea I don't think there's any reason to put away stuff on the ground if you have the golden can...maybe only for Jacobs ladders to grow. I had to leave tons of stuff on the ground so I could fit my turnips in for this week....I bought 2million worth to go for the badges. So I'll be keeping a close lookout on prices this week.
 
I've got all of Redd's prizes (with a few extras), plus 3 of the 4 hats from Isabelle.

Hopefully, next Sunday will give me a chance to get that 4th hat.

Time for me to grab dinner and head to bed. Back to the daily grind in the morning. G'night all.

 
I got all the prizes, including a few duplicates (ended up with 6 lovely phones I believe, wtf), and a lot of sparklers/roman candles.  Only got one bopper but that's what the other weeks are for.  Leaving my free for all out so I can open up tomorrow nice and easy.

 
I (stupidly) left my charger at home while I was away. So, I was only able to get one hat and one item. (Had the brightness all the way down, no sound, etc. :lol:) Was so paranoid when saving!

Always next week, I guess.
 
Yeah, everything can be obtained next week.  Hopefully they won't give you duplicate boppers from week to week, that'd be BS.  Four Sundays for four boppers is reasonable.

Trying to find a scorpion is fucking impossible.  I think I found one earlier but I didn't even SEE it before it knocked me out because it was hiding behind a tree.  Christ... This is the last bug I need that is currently available other than the ones that come from spoiled turnips, etc.

The last scorpion I came across was last night. The fucking thing was running around in a circle and when I went to approach it with my net. It made a wide circle and went right into the river and vanished. Every other time I've seen one, I didn't have my net on me.

 
What prizes are available today? Got a lovely phone, miniature car, lovely tester, and an ultra machine. Is there anything im missing?

Yeah, I'm not a fan of those either. Haven't bothered with the Island since I started with turnips. None for me this week though as I was out late and slept past noon today. :D

Those were the 4 I got. I put the car in my house and sold the rest.

 
Man I must of gotten lucky with the scorpion then cause first one I saw I was able to nab and haven't seen one since.

I actually enjoy the tours... But then again my sister and I usually play those together while skyping so it's easier to communicate. She lives in another state so it's fun to enjoy the game together.
 
The times I captured Tarantulas and Scorpions were when they were facing the other way, caught them as they were turning to me.

I'll dump her in Arkham, then if you want, you can dump her in Gotham.

I'll add you to the BFF list, and open my gates just for them.

That also might be a way to control who's from CAG and who isn't. Was thinking about it at work.

 
Portia wants to move, I think by the 7th or the 9th. Anyone who wants a new resident, she's all yours. Could stand to recruit a new one myself.

 
Guess the yellow bench I built put me over the perfect town edge finally. Noticed a Jacob's Ladder and then got the perfect town message when checking with Isabelle. Now to leave things alone for a couple weeks to get the gold watering can.
