Animal Crossing New Leaf

All the lovely fruit Dead of Knight gave me grew in today.  Seemed to be pretty good, missing an apple tree, but whatever.  I'd replant but I haven't gotten an ax (One thing I dislike about this game, no catalog ordering tools.).  Except for one thing.  I got about 4-5 perfect cherries and planted all but one.  I can't find a single tree!  I have a new house (number 10) but I find it odd that I'd plant all of them right where that house will be built.

But it's why I kept one of every fruit in my locker just in case.  So I have a perfect spot for the perfect fruit.  Now I just need an ax and a perfect peach and perfect apple.

You can only grow perfect fruit trees of your town's native fruit (I'm guessing it's pears based on one of your earlier posts). If you plant a non-native perfect fruit and the tree grows, it will just be a regular fruit tree.

 
Hmm something glitchy happened. I gave Reese my three gold nuggets last night...saved...logged in with my second character in order to buy a second real painting...saved...went to bed. Today...just logged in and went right to retail and Reese is not working on anything and my nuggets/gold furniture is missing! So weird...I checked inventory and found nothing. Anyone recall hearing about something like this?
 
No..I played for awhile...last thing I did was drop off the nuggets before I saved.  So I didn't play after I dropped them off.

I'm playing now...and its been an hour and I've had reese custom make some other furniture.  oh well...its just weird...i wonder what happened.

Midge is moving from Boxden on the 12th. She's one, if not, my favorite resident and I'd like to see her go to a good place. Let me know who'd like to take her in!

Really? I thought it was if you had regular non native fruit trees they can't produce a perfect fruit. However if you get a perfect fruit from out of town that would grow.

Midge is awesome. I had her in my GC version at one point.

 
I'd move her to Yolovile, but Dotty just moved in and she takes up the 10th spot. Bad timing. Still I like cycling out residents just to freshen things up. I've already stopped her from moving three other times. Now just seems like a good time to let her leave. I did make her a fairytale "park" because she requested those projects to be built. Guess that will become my tribute for her lol
 
I'm leaving my gate open overnight...going to bed tho.

New free stuff out front. I have a lazy camper, however, I was only able to get the money maker game once...it was frustrating and I gave up. Bingo number is 43 and turnips are 163.

If anyone wants to plant some flowers while I'm away...I would very much love that. :) I miss all my pink, purple, and blue flowers. Prim was kind enough to let me take from her town but my lack of space only allowed me to take about ten... they need to multiple faster lol
 
I can drop off some flowers. Since I don't have locker space, I'll bring what I can carry in my pockets.

EDIT: I left some near your house and statue fountain, and a random assortment near the waterfall (where the snowboy was built).

Darn I could sell my turnips, and give you a pink (only color I have) rose, but I never added you. I'll add you tomorrow night.

Okay so I think I figured out lazy camper exploit....they only buy fish, ore, bugs, mushrooms, etc....no furniture; I tried so hard to sell my ice furniture but he never wanted to play What do I want to eat? with those. Luckily I had 3 famous mushrooms saved up and I made some good bells off those. Think next time I get a lazy camper I'll be prepared by stocking up on sharks, mushrooms, etc ..good money maker than just selling even tho it takes a little longer.

No they buy furniture. I just drop everything outside and take one item in at a time. Time consuming, but they eventually play for them.

King, I'll be on in half hour or so. I'll change the date to the 12th so you can pick her up. I have Anges moving in, but will that ruin her coming when I revert back to today? She was camping yesterday and I convinced her to move.
 
Campers will only buy things that you can put for sale at the flea market. I think most things that can't be ordered from the catalog can't be sold (only Reese or Timmy & Tommy will buy them). Campers will buy things like regular tools, fruit (and whole baskets), fish, ore, fossils, mushrooms, clothing, coffee beans, party poppers, streetpass items, orderable sets of furniture, carpet, wallpaper etc. They won't buy things like snowflakes, bingo cards, animal pics (?), silver & gold tools.

I usually have only one of my pocket spaces empty when talking to them and the rest is full of things I want them to buy. If you're trying to get them to buy a crown, royal crown, or throne then it might be a good idea to have more empty spaces to carry bells - from what I read, it isn't worth buying thrones, crowns or royal crowns to sell to campers if you have bell boom, since you're spending more and they won't pay as much as you bought them for.

Turnips were 502 this morning. I plan on keeping that price tonight at least. If anyone needs to sell, I will be online around 9pm est.
 
Ahh...well I wasted time on that ice furniture...no wonder. Good to know.

Darn wish I'd bought turnips this week.

Oh, I just sell them the basic stuff. I never have bothered trying to sell them "exclusive" items. For what looks like a kid game, you forget how in depth it really is.

I'm pretty new to Animal Crossing, but I've been playing since Christmas.

My friend code is 1993-8491-5402. My Re-Tail is giving extra for perfect apples (my fruit is peaches) today, if anybody has a bunch they've been looking to sell.

 
I imagine Agnes moved from my town...somewhere. She was in a shitty location when she moved in, too. Now Hopper is just south of that location...all alone.

Awesome. I'm at work now and will be home after 1am. I feel like I might go to bed right when I get home so if your open tomorrow I'll drop by...I'm off all day altho I'll be elder scrolls beta testing at 6pm.
 
Just got the last painting I needed.  Will have to go through and gather all my extras up and give them away. I'll open up this weekend after I get a list of what I have.  I've gotten a bunch more the last couple of days, so if you need a specific one, I'll check to see if I have it.

Still no Gorgeous Bed in my town today, it stinks, but oh well. I'm not in a rush to get one...yet...Got my 3rd Bingo today, and a Ski Rack.

 
I've been playing more of Pokemon Y lately. I'm not as into Pokemon as I used to be, so the game has been going pretty slowly for me, but I still want to at least beat the elite four. So I haven't been spending a lot of time in Animal Crossing except to build snowmen/snowboys and check shops, turnip prices, and play camper games to get igloo camper furniture. I completed the ski set yesterday, so I only need to build snowboys for six more pieces of the snowman series.

I still have a legit serene painting up for grabs as well as golden closet x2, golden dresser, and golden man. If no one claims these tonight I will be selling them on Gamefaqs. Also have a ton of free stuff on my lawn as usual.

The Snowmen still piss me off, but I'm slowly building them. Not even looking at Gracie right now, I'm still broke from the Sweets set and my hiatus.

Just got Zelda, so I'm probably still playing, just slowly. Definitely nowhere near as hardcore as I had been. 

What is this Bingo thing?

Bingo is a game you play for the Ski set with the Biggest Snowmen. You get a card from one you build and everyday get numbers from them and others via their eyes. Get a Bingo, get an item. But you lose your card in the process.

Your town resetti'd while I was trying to drop off some flowers. I got at least one trip in. Just so you know where some of those flowers came from. :)
