anyone ever heard of full metal panic? is it related to full metal alchemist?
Yes and No
can you get a litle specific?
They're both completely different from one another. One focuses around alchemy and the other focuses on mechs (sort of).

Yeah basically the only things they have in common are the words Full Metal in their titles.

Fullmetal Alchemist(still waitin to see the last couple eps SPOON! haul ass)
Naruto
Kenshin
Yu Yu Hakusho
Berserk
Samurai Champloo

Full Metal Panic if I recall is about this dude from an agency sent to boyguard this girl and shes not supposed to know about it but that kinda fades away after episode 5, oh and mechs are involved.

Full Metal Alchemist is about the elric brother who are both state alchemists searching for the philosphers stone, Ed and Al lost there mother and tried to bring her back to life with alchemy but something went wrong and Ed lost an arm and a leg while Al lost his whole body, Ed used alchemy to bind Als soul to a steel armor and Eds body parts were replace with robotic parts due to this the state named him the full metal alchemist.
Theres a ps2 game that came out for it that I want to get but its a little too pricey.

LOL, I just finished watching Cosplay Complex.

Jenny is just wrong, lol.

Pretty entertaining overall, I even recognized a decent amount of the costumes.

Neon Genesis Evangelion, by far the best anime I've seen. The story is so compelling, and the horror that lies underneath the story is as good as it gets.

Voices of a distant star, another film I truly enjoyed was done by one person really amazing work.

Boogie Pop Phantom, just strange but strangely compelling series that only gets better as it progresses.

Tsukihime, didn't expect much but it grew on me and by the end I was wrecked

Saikano, really appealed to me guess I'm a sucker for tragedies.

Record of Lodoss War, great series if you love the fantasy setting this will appeal to you

Berserk! awesome series violent, dark, great series the ending will floor you.

Witch Hunter Robin, man this show just oozed style great story with compelling characters.

I'm just getting into anime, but I've loved most of what I've seen so far.

Hellsing is amazing. Are there any other animes that I should look into that are similiar to this one?
I just watched Vol. 4 of Gungrave on DVD...I mean I've seen it before but it's all the more sweeter in DVD quality.
I wish more Anime DVDs were in Anamorphic Widescreen. I hate "Letterboxing" since it is just a square with black bars. Gungrave is in Anamorphic, so it fills my widescreen laptop.
