Amazon tends to offer lower everyday prices on their anime, and often run sales on Funimation items routinely. Keep track on your favorites or check your daily deal's for a possible 5% off of some based off your history on Amazon. 

(Also, I'd also recommend to check out Amazon's top 100 deals in Anime Bluray/DVD as they tend to show what's popular, or what is on sale.)

Known by many for their bad customer service, they often make up for it with their lower prices on a lot of their items. This and they routinely run sales specifically for anime.

It may seem that way, but they're making it confusing and tricky this year, and releasing different seasons of the same series with huge gaps between the sale dates.

They had the first season of AKB0048 on Day 6, and more than a week later they put the second season of it on sale.

In previous years this happened sometimes too, but seems to be more rampant this year with splitting up seasons of things into different days instead of putting them in the same one.

You'd think it'd make more sense just to have things in the same day, or at least one after another, but meh. :p

 
Anyone thinking about getting the Angelic Layer manga, don't. It's trash. The anime is so much better it's not even funny.

See I thought so but I wasn't 100% sure. I could have sworn that they listed Utakata DVD twice now....shady RS...shady. :p

 
End up bought sailor moon season 1 part 1 & 2 yesterday at bestbuy. I don't think it ever go below $20 each. I don't think viz ever fix the issues on both set.

Seriously, Right Stuf? Trying to sell the original DVD-only versions of Certian Magical Index for $25 each? You can get the bloated Season 1 set for that much! And lemme tell you, selling the Season 1 set is pretty difficult.

Those DBZ prices are pretty high too. Fairy Tail is a good price, as is Haganai. Gunslinger Girl is certainly worth it, but IIRC, I've seen it for cheaper on eBay.

 
Minor update, apparently Rightstuf didn't put up their full sale list for Thursday until a bit later, so the list I had compiled previously wasn't complete, but it is now.

For those who have been looking for a good price on Chunibyou, now is probably a good time.

It also looks like the lack of direct sales at Funimation may be because they are just doing their sales through Rightstuf instead this year, which is not nearly as good as it was last year when all of the sales were directly through their site, but I guess it's better than nothing. ~_~

Got excited for DBZ until I realized $15.69 applied to DVD's.

Meanwhile I received the first part of my order while RS got Dr. Slump together (they shipped it 2 days). Received Tejujin28 as one of my Blind Box items. One of these days I need to order multiples to see how they mix it up.

Is Claymore worth getting for $21.99?

Considering they had the full season 1 bd for $25 as a daily deal the other day, it's an extremely douchey move.

Grrl Power is actually a really good cart topper. The fact that the sign language is accurate makes it even better.

Captain Tylor is a steal, though. Must-buy.

 
So I went to grab the Hobbit Trilogy from Amazon UK and noticed Toradora on blu for 36 GBP. When I put it in the cart with Hobbit, it became 30 GBP...all in with shipping I paid $100 for both. Probably had VAT included or something, but 30 GBP (~$45) seems great for Toradora on blu. I'm a happy camper.

 
The the Funi sale is officially up, and it's awful...as expected, lol.  Almost anything listed on Rightstuf that's also in the Funi sale is cheaper on Rightstuf, so yeah...

Here's to hoping Cyber Monday won't be a bust either.

I'll go for Fujiko Mine and Blood-C from Funi, both around $20, which is significantly cheaper than anywhere else. Check your email if you're a subscriber, because they sent out 10% off coupons a couple of days ago. (Yes, I liked Blood-C. No, you'll probably hate it.)

Amazon has Akira BD for $10, Trigun DVD for $13. Both cheaper than RS or Funi, and the lowest prices ever at AMZ.

Pretty minimal discount since you lose the FS. Not terrible for NISA titles averages to about ~$45 for a premium set. I bought some stuff from them a few years ago when the FS was applied automatically during checkout for qualifying orders but now that it is a coupon, it is only saving a few bucks.

During last year's Right Stuf sale, did anyone buy items that were marked 'Out of Stock' but still received them? It looks like all the ones I want still have an 'Add to Cart' button, but aren't in stock anymore.

This wasn't an option with the old site, but it's not a guarantee it'll be fulfilled.

I've had a couple of out of stocks that sat there for months, and eventually just got cancelled.

 
What do you guys think of the NIS bundle?

$20 each is cheap, but if one or two are junk then it'd be $30/$60 per good set (which is clearly bad)
