Amazon tends to offer lower everyday prices on their anime, and often run sales on Funimation items routinely. Keep track on your favorites or check your daily deal's for a possible 5% off of some based off your history on Amazon.

Known by many for their bad customer service, they often make up for it with their lower prices on a lot of their items. This and they routinely run sales specifically for anime.

So happy I was able to get Persona 4 CE for $75 thanks to the Sentai sale.

edit: Sentai Blurays come out to the usually price once the coupon code is applied.

DeepDiscount is currently running a 15% off coupon, and the anime sale prices are still going on as well.  The prices seem to be (at least with the Eastern Star and Sentai I've been looking up so far) the same as DVDPlanet's are right now or just a bit higher.  This also makes some Ghibli Blus just about $17 too.

On a personal note, I'm thinking about Ceres Celestial Legend as I will never read the manga version since that, from what I know, contains more gore than I personally want.

Tempted on getting Familiar of Zero and NGNL. Familiar of Zero comes out to about $25 a season for S1-S3, which is only $1 more than Rightstuf if they have a holiday sale for $24. NGNL is a good price, but it's harder to bite knowing it's still $10 more than the Crunchyroll deal.

Edit: Oh and Order a Rabbit is $28.70. Also very tempting.

tempted on no game no life. has deep discount gotten better or is it still likely to take 1-10 months for them to get me my item?

edit: I see i can't get free shipping on the ngnl set so the price is $65

I also see right stuf is up to like 98 for it now o_O

i see the code brings it down to $78 which I think is $4 more than it was before the sale :/

No Deep Discount still sucks. And since I get charged tax these 10% and 15% don't help at all. Now if they ever do the 20% or 25% then that isn't too bad. And I had to wait 2 months on a movie recently. So that answers your question about wait times haha.

 
I'm thinking about getting the first season of Familiar of Zero or Log Horizon (I could love that show and not realize it yet)...but then again, I'm still thinking about Young Justice: Invasion and Ceres and Pet Girl of Sakurasou.  I'm probably going to pick one or two and put the rest on wish lists since I'm going to get a few CDs with this anyway.

Besides, some of RightStuf's Mega Deals have been pretty nice lately so there's no telling what will happen in the next few months.

I actually want to bite on NGNL, but I just can't do it now.

I got the Persona 4 DVD-only sets because I'm cheap :whistle2:

Filled out my order with Attack on Titan Part 1 RE because I don't like artbook packaging, or paying an extra $30 for said artbook packaging :whistle2:x

 
Hmm anyone notice that both AMZ and RS moved the release date of Soul Eater Not! and Soul Eater PE all the way back to July 21st, 2015.

I got an email from AMZ about it and maybe figured that RS just got exclusive rights to it early but it doesn't look that way.

there are a number of things rumored to be being announced at anime expo. though most of the rumors I have heard are related to video games and not anime (and they are escaping me, there should be a few japanese video games confirmed for english release according to rumor though)

the only thing I am hoping for is an announcement for an english dub of dragon ball super, as after goku becomes an adult the japanese version of dragon ball is basically unwatchable to me in japanese :/
