Any chance on a Vita price drop soon?

I really want the Vita to have a price drop soon. I already own one, so it's not for me... or not exactly. I think a price drop will get more sales going on it, and more sales means more games. I don't think the Vita is dead, but I do worry about its longevity without them giving it a price drop and making it more desirable.
oh nothing to worry about! with remote play, every ps4 game is a vita game!

plus, there will always be more indie and ports!

 imo, vita need

1. price drop

2. memory size increase and price drop to accommodate the

3. more aggressive localization effort of the more japanese games.  I am more interested in Japanese type game than western games like KillZone.

4 redesign things like Near,  encourage people to take it around.  As archaic as Nintendo's online account management is, their streetpass etc is fun.

5. LE system bundle (or better).  Seriously, the walking dead?   Bundle what can be consider a "indie" game that everyone probably had played it on console or pc?  Great game, but still....  what happen to SS Vita or releasing Toukiden Vita... or best yet, Miku Vita :)

So, rather than starting a new thread, I just wanted to state it in here. Does anyone else feel that if Sony added some of their PS3 MMOs to the Vita, it would sell more? I would probably buy a vita, if I could play DC universe online on it. Same with XIV
Why add them to Vita when you can just play them on Vita using Remote Play? Okay maybe not FF XIV but DCUO and Planetside 2, etc Would not be surprised if they port FF XIV to PS4.

I really hope that was sarcasm and not meant to be comforting :)
Sarcasm for sure, but oh... I don't know anymore!... ;/ Apparently there are people that are just fine with ports/indie and remote play.

$200 will move units for a while bundles like AC & COD will move thru the holidays, exclusive bundles will sell based of the games/memory & GC type promos on all models. Remote play will help so will borderlands 2 & minecraft but they need at least 3 more system sellers to reach 10 million sales. GT bundle would help too even a RE bundle as long as the.game is less action more survival horror.

Edit:madden & fifa bundles would sell too.

I really can't imagine BL2 moving any units. I haven't played it (though I'm sure it's a great game and I really want to play it), but I doubt it will sell well enough to make the multiplayer experience that great on the Vita.

Handheld Minecraft might move some units, especially if there's some sort of synching with the PS3. Will be interesting to see how that plays out.

Very happy about the price drop, though surprised to see that the 3G/Wifi model is the same price as the Wifi-only model. I'm really having trouble seeing that as anything other than Sony trying to get rid of them. I mean, if you could have either for $199, why wouldn't you pick the 3G model? Even if you can't imagine yourself wanting the 3G, wouldn't it be better to have it as an option? Seems weird.

Anyone think amazon will lower the price to a bit below MSRP for the 32gb card when it updates the price? At the moment it lists the base price as $99 and has the card selling for $78. I'm really happy with the memory card being base $80, but I also hope that means that amazon is going to lower it from $78 to $70 or something. I can dream. :)

I bet the actual subscription rate for 3G Vita is next to zero.  I would probably think that additional chip is just liability to burst into flame... ;/

If someone is serious about mobile gaming, they need to get 4G LTE hotspot/phone.  When I am in area with 3G only, might as well not bother.

3Gs are no doubt being clearanced out. They could have announced a 4G model, but no doubt nobody is willing to pay for the service, so what's the point? The main reason to pick it over the WiFi model is that it comes with a 4 GB memory card, doesn't it? You need some sort of memory card, so that makes it $15 cheaper (in a sense) than the WiFi model. Of course you're going to want a larger card, but it's a start at least.

Who still has the AC or CoD bundles? I've seen 1 in St. Louis since early Spring at an out of the way Target.
