Anybody Been to a Concert Lately?

Behemoth was amazing..

Should've been the headliners. So was 3 Inches of Blood, but their set was so short. Lamb of God was actually pretty good, though.

Good God, I tried making a list of bands I've seen, and stopped when I had to get a new sheet of paper. I was crazy in HS, usually hitting two or three shows a week. I've seriously cut back since then, which is odd because I went from a pretty small-market town (Cleveland) to one of the biggest in the world (LA/Orange County).

Just got back from a 4 hour free show in Washington square park, then a 5 hour show in Brooklyn with many of the same bands (Leftover Crack, World/Inferno, Witch Hunt). Amazing sets all around.

Saw Slayer/Marilyn Manson/Bleeding Through last Thrusday... Bleeding Through was the band of the night IMO (and only my opinion by the crowds reaction), and Slayer was kind of a letdown... Manson put on a good show as usual
^ How was Pistolita live?

Good to hear projekt revolution was awesome for ya OP. I'm going to it on August 11 when it hits Tampa.

Last concert I went to was last year for 30 Seconds to Mars...actually it was a small intimate acoustic performance back before they got insanely popular with The Kill.
They were great. Nice to see another fan.

Weird Al Sunday night. Great show, lots of costumes, lots of funny stuff between costume changes, songs from all eras, and a great Saga Begins/Yoda medley. The encore was awesome as well, even though it was only one song.
Glad you had fun that bus was actually designed by the company I work for, and we also have a site for the tour as well. There will be a cool contest going up next week where you can win a trip to London to see LP I will post a link in the contests forum when it's ready. Wait until you see the app we are working on, it's going to be cool. It's also going to be at the shows set up in a tent.
This contest is up now by the way, for anyone who is interested.

The last concert I went to was Collective Soul, Live, and Counting Crows in Dayton, OH. I told my girlfriend I knew we were getting old when we were going to see three bands who used to headline their own tours and haven't put out a new album in years.

Collective Soul was really cheesy, especially their singer. Played all of seven or eight hits and they were gone. Live sounds just like they do on the radio, which is good in my book, and their lead singer has his rock star posing down to science.

Counting Crows is phenomenal live, especially Adam Duritz. The man doesn't even have to try and he blows everyone away with his sincerety and effortless mastery of his voice. They played a few older songs they said they haven't played in years which was a nice change of pace. They have a double album coming out this November called Saturday Nights, Sunday Mornings. If its anything like the song they played from it, it will be a classic Crows album.
