Checkers fries are really damn good but as I said earlier I can't even remember the last time I had fast food. Watching Super Size Me didn't help fast foods case either
^^Not to thread crap, but I don't understand why people put so much weight in Super Size Me. The guy willing ate nothing but unhealthy fast food for a month. Why is anybody going to listen to somebody dumb enough to do that? I love fast food but I'm not planning on living on it for 30 days. Obviously, it's not healthy.
I hate it, have had it probably less than 5 times this decade, and all were in instances that it was the only thing available when I needed a quick lunch at a conference etc.
But I don't eat much fast food period, and when I do it's usually something like Arby's, Five Guys or one of the burrito joints (Chipotle, Baja Fresh, California Tortilla).
Yeah, it's a bit more expensive. But I'm not much of a cheap ass anymore now that I make real money, so that's also a big part of seldom eating fast food anymore. Five Guys is a very cheap meal out compared to most meals for me.
I enjoy good food and don't mind paying for it. I'm more cheap on things like games and blu rays I guess--hence why I'm here.
Because it is still better than what most of the rest of the world has to look forward to. People in North Korea would kill for a Happy Meal or a happy meal.
Timmy: Mom why do we go to McDonald's everyday?
Mom: Because we need to remind ourselves that we're superior to a handful of 3rd world countries.
Timmy: ?

Morgan Spurlock is a complete con artist who has thankfully returned to obscurity. His movie has been thoroughly debunked but the damage is done. With any luck the only way he'll be able to pay his bills is by working at a McDonalds.
It had nothing to do with the actual outcome of the movie. The movie was just fun to watch. You know the crap they sell is unhealthy but when you hear just how bad it is(ie. the nutrition facts), it just gives you the hibbie jibbies
ebopirs: Do you work at McDonalds or something? Jeez man take it easy. No need to get so worked up over it
his tv show rules and his wife is hot
you're just jealous
You mean the canceled show that pissed off everybody who tried to carry it because he only managed to produce a half-dozen episodes a year after his concepts kept falling apart? (The first episode about minimum wage was delayed severely because they couldn't find anyone hiring at minimum wage and his nutjob wife walked out halfway through production because things were too icky for her and could only be cajoled back for a single later appearance in the series.) Worse, it was getting harder to find participants after they found out who was behind the show.
Spurlock is just Michael Moore without the voracious appetite and the talent. A low-rent con artist to Moore's major league scammer.

No, I've never worked for McDonalds or any similar business. I just happen to find scammers like Spurlock detestable.

wow, you know way too much about the guy
you must be stalking him due to his awesome tv show and hot wife.. pretty creepy man
I only like the iced coffee and I get those about once every two weeks or so. If I have to pick up something it will be for breakfast, but thats if Im out of options and need to get somewhere.
The only thing that makes me feel nostalgic is the taste of the french fries... Happy meals used to be the best... Wtf is up with the crappy toys they give out now. I feel bad for the kids, those fat chunky kids.
I used to like McDonald's just fine until about a year and a half ago. I don't know what happened, but I started to feel like crap after eating from there. I still feel alright after Burger King, Wendy's, or any other such place, but McDonald's gets me feeling all bloated and nasty. Occassionally I'll go get a burger from them out of nostalgia, but always feel crappy afterwards. No more McDonald's for me.
Whatever makes money I guess I thought his show was okay. i don't think he returned to obesity since he's a vegetarian.
Let me guess you hate him cause he's a liberal?
No, because he is a liar and scam artist.
I can dislike your beliefs while having enmity against you as a person if you've done nothing to earn it. Spurlock is a contemptible person who views the world in terms of where his next scam opportunity lies. He isn't a liberal so much as someone who cynically preys on liberals for his living. Where his own sympathies lie is not an issue.
It could be argued that it is easier to con liberals by using a bleeding heart, standing up for the underdog approach but there are ways to appeal emotionally rather than rationally to almost any target group. You just have to know which buttons to press and what information to selectively withold.
I'm more partial to Wendy's myself.
Me too, huge Wendy's fan!
McDonald's is OK if I'm starving, their "ice cream" is OK, the southern chicken sandwich is really good. I try not to eat too much fast food, and when I do I try Wendy's. However they have made their Frosty sizes smaller and increased the prices!
However i worked at one for a very short time.... don't make fun of the people when they up because it's soul sucking death. Also they had happy meal boxes for one day! How can you get a happy meal without the box!
