Anyone want to trade their Pokemon X or Y for my Pokemon Alpha Sapphire?
I wish you luck. I'm considering going after the (non-hologram) one in the lowball going on now, but I'm kind of tapped out moneywise for the moment. I have Christmas shopping to do.

Store locator's showing one 20 miles from me, but I don't feel like making the drive. It's some place in Kentucky that I don't go very often and the road there is a terrifying, narrow, winding stretch along the Ohio River with no guardrails and bad phone service.
And you'd get there and it's disc-only and scratched up.

I was bidding on it in Azu's lowball too, but it's already over $20.

I've suffered such disappointment on many occasions. There are only a handful of games worth buying disc-only at Gamestop prices, and Xenosaga III isn't one of them.

$20 ($23 or so shipped) was my limit too. Am I fool enough to go to Best Buy and check for one of the limited release holographic version? My local Best Buy is quite possibly the most miserly in the universe when it comes to clearancing games, so if it didn't sell immediately upon release there's the slimmest chance it's sitting there buried under a bunch of High Stakes Casino or whatnot.

I had better let this conversation rest until tomorrow in case these count as bumps, just in case the "no off-topic conversation" regulation is vigorously enforced.

You're dreaming. :D

If it were, my tradelist would be under federal investigation by now.

You'd better believe that I'm dreaming. Going to great lengths for nothing is one of the only things I'm good at.

If that's the case about tradelists, I'll continue to converse as normal. But if anyone asks, this is all relevant to your request for a copy of Xenosaga III ;)

Replied.

I think I'll try and get on making a collection/library list to keep people from making perfectly good and fair offers only to be met with disappointment.

Blazblue GET!

It's really good so far. I'm not what you'd call a hardcore fighting game fan, but it's still providing just the right challenge as I work toward memorizing the characters' specials and learning how to chain combos. I kind of wish that there had been some sort of tutorial mode, but that's a minor complaint. Even with the horrible 360 D-Pad, I find that things control quite nicely. Though, I've mostly been using Ragna and I figure that, as the main protagonist, he's the most balanced character, so I'm sure that I'll encounter much trickier stuff when I begin branching out into other characters. Really good stuff so far.

Halloween bump. Have some candy.
Oddworld arrived yesterday! I'll ship out your game tomorrow, so here's a free bump in the meantime.
Awesome! Thanks for the update and bump.

Bump for new inventory!

Sorry, I do indeed already have Devil Summoner 2 sealed.

I think I'll see if I can't expand my wants list a little more to help people out who want something. I feel bad whenever I have to turn someone away.
...tf is this? Unacceptable. I demand clever photoshops.
Impossible! Doing something other than photoshopping "_ump" into "bump" would require actual creative effort.

...okay, fine. Have a hilariously bad photoshop.

Sad truth: I didn't alter this image in any way.

Sorry, but I wasn't able to get your game out today. I hadn't accounted for my continual lack of a car (it's a long and traumatic story that I'd rather not tell on account of the length and trauma). I will get your game shipped tomorrow, though, even if I have to ride my damn bike to the post office. Unless something unexpected and traumatic happens, in which case I won't. I think the odds are in your favor, anyway.

No problem, things happen. I definitely appreciate your determination in getting the game out to me, but there's no rush, especially if you're without transportation. I hope things work out for you.
how much for star ocean tlh 360?
In all honesty, I'd prefer trading it to selling it, so if you have a list I'll check that first. I can't really afford to lowball it too much at the moment, so it might be more equitable for the both of us if it's games and not money involved. Thanks for your interest.

Evening-ish bump.

Got Nobunaga's Ambition: Iron Triangle and Puchi Puchi Virus today, so they're off the wants list.

As it turns out, something unexpected happened. I was going to ship out your game today but it seems that I don't have your address. Could you PM me your shipping address? I'm extremely sorry for taking so long to send this, I'll upgrade to priority mail to make up for the lost time.

Hey, no problem. Forgetting to give you that was probably my fault anyway, so don't cost yourself any money over something that's really no problem. PM'd address, and bump.

I did get a DC#. It is in the 2nd post on my list. if it is incorrect post in my thread and I will put up the right one. I was cutting and pasting on my laptop and hate typing numbers when I dont have the side keys

Ah, didn't think to look there as I figured that the list only pertained to your last lowball (forgot to bid on the Castlevania 20th anniversary bonus, btw. Dammit!)

That number might be incorrect as it's listed as being accepted Nov. 4. No rush in finding it if you have it somewhere, but I'll let you know in your thread as you've requested. Thanks for the info.

Hey, I saw a copy of Shadow Hearts at Hastings last night, but I believe it had a subtitle of some sort. Don't know, never played the games, but it was $15. I can go check or pick it up for you if you'd like.

Hastings guarantees manuals, I believe, just let me know.

Oh! And there's a sealed copy of Electroplankton on eBay right now for $50 BIN FS.

Thanks for the heads-up on those. The original Shadow Hearts didn't have a subtitle, so that can't be it. I'm getting Shadow Hearts: Covenant from a lowball, and the third, Shadow Hearts: From the New World, is a little more common than the other two. I see it at Gamestop every now and then and I'm pretty sure it retails for around $15 used there, so I'll let some other lucky person have the one you found.

As for Electroplankton, if that's not a counterfeit that's a pretty fantastic deal on it. I'll have to think about it because it's really tempting at that price, although I'm not sure I'm in a position to put down that much money on a single game at the moment.

The info is appreciated, though! I'm not even certain that I even have a Hastings in my state, so if you ever see anything let me know and I'll reimburse you plus a little extra for your trouble.

No copies within a hundred miles of me, according to the site. It's one of the rarest GBA games, so I guess it makes sense.

Bump.

Alright, I just got your game shipped out (finally). Your DC number is 0309 1830 0001 8524 7496. In other news, the GameStop link above shows a copy of that one game in stock at a store near my house. You want me to pick it up for you?

Thanks! I'll let you know when the game arrives.

Oh, so you have a copy of Ninja Five-O near you? I'd really appreciate you getting that for me. Of course, I'll reimburse you + shipping and extra for your trouble. I've been looking for a copy of that for years!

I just saw the conversation even farther above about Electroplankton. I actually stopped by a small game store a couple weeks ago and saw that they had Electroplankton in stock. I made note of it because I had never seen one in a store before, and I believe that it was $40. I had no idea that it was so valuable, but if you want I could look into it. Do you know anything I should watch out for in case it's a bootleg?

I'll have to consider Electroplankton at that price. Don't get it yet because I have a lot of money tied up in lowballs and I don't know how much I'm going to have left when it's all over, but that's still pretty tempting.

As for how to tell a counterfeit DS game, generally the printing quality of the insert and the manual are lower, like they came from a home printer. The back of the cart also generally lacks a serial number and most real DS games have the DS logo to the right of the area inside the case where the cartridge is kept. I've also read of one instance of a counterfeit copy of Electroplankton having the translucent cases and boring spine that PAL DS games have.

Also, this list is, strangely, the sixth result on google when one types in "counterfeit electroplankton".

That means that you can now introduce yourself as "One of Google's Greatest Authorities on Electroplankton Counterfeiting". You should put it on a business card.
