I had a pile of legit games sitting right next to me so I checked. Some of mine are glossy, and some not so much. My SMB 3 is glossy, but so is my Konami Arcade Advanced. On the other hand, my F-Zero and Castlevania CoM don't feel glossy at all. Sticker stock doesn't seem to be any indicator of a pirated game. Hope that helps.
