Are they still working on adding more Xbox 1 To Xbox 360

I don't think the sales were ever very good for the original Xbox titles they put up. Probably due to the fact they have always been overpriced.

Mostly, because the few games that won't run are either major flops or very obscure, as they put it. Not to mention that they no longer even support online play for original Xbox games.

I wonder if that group is still trying to play Halo 2 on it, though.

Yea, the games were overpriced. MS could have been a much bigger hit on their hands if they went the $10 route for major titles and $5 for obscure, but they decided to go for $15 and it failed.

They dropped X-Box backward compatibility almost as fast as they dropped total X-Box support.

And you know what really sucks? I can't re-download the free X-Box DLC for my new 360 and they don't allow you to copy the files over from one 360 to another either.

It's not even just some obscure titles that don't work. Some of the games I wished work like The Warriors, Def Jam: Fight for NY, and NBA Street V2 aren't backwards compatible and I consider those to be pretty mainstream titles. It sucks.

Not on Xbox 360

I feel you. I'm mad I can't play Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes (though that is a mid-line title)

Why would they still be working on making them backwards compatible? MS will make literally 0 money from doing so.

The reason that some of the big titles aren't backwards compatible because it was literally impossible for them to make them backwards compatible.

Short answer: No

Longer in depth answer that comprehensively explains Microsoft's decision on this matter:
No, because it's Microsoft

It's not because Microsoft are lazy, it's because some games are impossible to make backwards compatible. They made as many of the games that people care about playable on the 360, all the big titles that you can't play on there are ones that are impossible to make playable.

Also note: It's around $30 for an original Xbox console, if you REALLY want to play the original games then it's not like your'e going to break the bank buying a console.

I never did play X-Men Legends 2, held out hope for a long time that it would have been added, but gave up maybe a year ago. Glad to see Beyond Good and Evil getting the XBLA treatment, that was one I wanted to play again. I'm just thankful for Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 1 and 2.

Did they fix BG I and 2? when I last tried to play them they were so slow it was futile.
