Good idea Mishimaryu! Poll for everyone who says yes and perma-ban, as it goes against the philosophy of the website.

This site is for people to get deals on cheap games. But far too often I see people who wait till day 6 of a 7 day sale to go into a store and then blame some imaginary hoarder/flipper for them not getting a game. I understand people are busy in their lives and maybe they can't get there Sunday(when most deals start), but if you can't make time to get to a store till late in the week then don't blame someone else for you missing out on a deal.
People see what they feel is a good deal and they'll jump on it without hesitation. That's like this past weeks' Target trade deal. I waited till Saturday afternoon to take advantage of that. By then I expected to be told that it was one trade per person PERIOD and that old games didn't qualify at all. I got lucky though and managed to get in on the deal. But as they say, he who procrastinates....well you know.
lolwut? What "philosophy"? As far as I knew, this was about getting cheap games. What you do with them is your own business...
Oh how I wish people could just follow that last statement of yours. So I picked up 4 copies of something and I decided to make a comment about where I'm going to offload them. You don't have to comment on me picking up the games or what I plan on doing with them since it's my money/credit I used to buy them with. But people just always gotta make a snide remark as if it's gonna change someone's mind.
what was the target thing?
I flip a lot of things at thrift stores. As far as retail, I've bought a few things from other places to get a good trade in somewhere else, however if a collector from here wants something from here, or a friend wants the game ill pick it up and sell it to them at cost.
The Target thing was a deal last week where they had a trade-in deal in their stores with a cell phone kiosk in the store. It was supposed to likely be any two games from a select list would get you a $20 coupon that you had to use that day towards any game $29.99 and over. But thanks to a misprint in the physical ad it read that it was any two games.
Some people went as far back as Genesis titles, while most stuck to the ones for the systems listed on their trade-in screen(PS1 to current gen stuff including handhelds). It felt good to get rid of older titles like old sports titles for PS1 and get a decent value for them via the coupons.
I only flip stuff from thrift stores, and even then I only do it if I'm going to make a good profit. I'm also not a person who lists items on Amazon or eBay at super high prices fishing for idiots. When I sell stuff, I look at the lowest current listed price on Amazon, subtract 2 or 3 dollars, and post it at that price.
Anytime I've posted something for sale on Amazon(penny guides, PSPGo's, whatever), I usually put it at $1 below the lowest current price. That way I make the most and it helps offset the Amazon fees and the fact that Amazon only usually gives a MAXIMUM shipping credit of $3.99, even on stuff like the Black Ops Prestige Edition bundles, which cost $15-ish to ship UPS Ground.
But if you're willing to be nice like that and leave some meat on the bone for other people then good on you. But as for me I wanna make whatever price the market is willing to pay me or close to that.
