Who cares about the soundtrack? what do you people do? pop it into the CD player in your car and crank it up while you drive????
Why *wouldn't* you care about the soundtrack?! I don't own over well over 100 game soundtracks for nothing! There's a huge market for this type of thing, you know, particularly in Japan. I could get rich off of some of my older, out of print soundtracks should I choose to sell them (which I probably never will...),

... And to answer your question, yes, that's exactly what I do, but only with my CD-R backup copies, since I wouldn't want to scratch my originals.

I have. There are lots of games with great music. I enjoy a broad variety of music. I listen to jazz and classical music on NPR more than anything (except maybe the classic soul station :) ). Final Fantasy has had their music performed by professional orchestras. Plus the whole point of pre-ordering is to get the pre-order bonus. If I don't get it then there isn't much incentive to pre-order.

In the case of my BF.... yep. That would be it excactly.

He also burns his own mixes with songs from various game soundtracks. The current one includes every version of the Hymn of the Faith.

Once again- any extras for sale out there? Anyone? Name a price!
You could also just import the Atelier Mana 1 OST which is 2 discs. The promo being the first disc of the OST.

Thank you! This will be just fine... as soon as the link starts working again. (I tried my own searches for the import, but couldn't be sure which appiled to this game specifically.) :D

Sorry about the link try this instead, very excellent seller and highly reccommended. Go here http://www.vgmworld.com/ then catalog, and then choose the letter A. You should be able to spot it it's then Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana Original Soundtrack.

:D I haven't heard any of these songs but I feel the need to import both soundtracks. (Something of a growing fanboyism) Plus, I've never imported anything before.

Well...I mean... I downloaded the 2nd OST a while ago but that's just in case I don't get around to it.... _>

*waits for tomorrow for my copy of the game to arrive* *sigh*

Same here, I ordered from overstock.com and it just left NJ on Saturday.

Just stopped by my local Gamestop to pick up the game and they said the company never shipped them any copies of the soundtrack (even though they told me they WOULD have copies when the game arrived). The guy there told me he would ask some other Gamestop stores to ship some leftover soundtracks to their store to give to the people who preordered the game but I doubt I'm gonna get one. This pissed me off cause I was willing to pay $50 for the game and soundtrack and I could have gotten the game only for $40 at Fry's last week. :bomb:

This translates into "the employees took them all and are using any excuse possible to screw you over".

After EB and Gamestop screwed me out of multiple preorder bonuses, I just order all my games online that have a bonus.

That's what I plan on doing from now on.

Yeah... sure... A friggin' nerd made of solid muscle who'd be more than happy to pop your head off with a katana.

You ever listen to game music? Some of its got some damn good orchestral arrangement, you know... oh wait, you wouldn't. Only nerds listen to classical-style music... normal, everyday morons like yourself can't follow something like that.

You can shut your damn mouth now.

I concur with everything you said. Except I don't use a Katana. ;)

I prefer :boxing: .

Got my Gamestop online order, the packing slip says the soundtrack is backordered. I'll hold out hope yet!

My Gamestop B&M preorder never got the soundtrack which pissed me off because I preordered before they even offered a bonus. Apparently all the soundtracks they either kept for themselves or gave to people without checking existing preorders. Anyway, I just cancelled my B&M order and ordered from the website with the free shipping code. By the way, Gamestop.com is still selling the game/soundtrack on the website.

Yes, but I ordered mine on 6/30. They shipped the game but the soundtrack is backordered.

I got my game and soundtrack on Wednesday, and I love the music from the game so much I'll probably import the soundtrack someday. Now I'm tempted to give the CD to DuelLadyS :D

Did you pre-order or just order it recently on Gamestop.com like I did?
Did you pre-order or just order it recently on Gamestop.com like I did?
After reading through this thread I realize you'll more than likely just pre-order online for bonuses in the future...you may want to do so from the NIS America website when ordering one of theirs. I nearly waited until the last minute to pre-order mine (literally, as my order history shows it going through at 11:50 pm CA time, local time for NIS) and I ended up getting the soundtrack and an e-mail that gave me a password to download some strategy guide (haven't downloaded it yet, will let you know how it is after I do). So even though they said "only the first 500 get a soundtrack" apparently not too many people ordered from them if I was able to order so late and still get one.

I will warn you that their cheapest shipping was $5.99 but since I live in TX the shipping+tax from Gamestop.com or Ebgames.com would've been more. NIS didn't charge me tax.

Yup, I pre-ordered from NIS. I wasn't too happy with the shipping price either but I made an excuse for myself that the soundtrack cost extra. _>

Gamestop has finally put up the Makai Kingdom bonus artbook... I believe FREESHIPALL still works for free shipping, so I'm just going to order it over there; I don't mind waiting a week or so to get it because I'm guaranteed the art book.

Really?! That would be great, if you did!!!

I was given the soundtrack at random at EB today. I'm just going to rip it to my computer. Anyone want to buy it off of me or trade for it? Since I got it for free, I wouldn't want much, just something for the time and effort of shipping. PM me if you want it.

Sent PM.

Downloaded the guide, it looks nice. Just skimmed it because I have yet to play the game. However, it is now free for anyone to download:
