RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE! Why do I torture myself with the Smyrna/41/Coob Pkwy Best Buy! Mother fuckERS wouldn't take the $5 Blu-Ray coupon for Madagascar 2! I brought in the whole add so they would know it wasn't a copy. Fry's is and they are selling it a $1 less than BBy.
They denied another guy while I was in line. It was the short Asian Manager, he is usually one of the better ones!

If they are denying PM + coupon, then that's life. But if they are straight-out denying a manufacturers coupon, and every term is met on the coupon, then you need to report them to both corporate and the studio that is putting out that ad.

But I think you're out of luck because it's advertised on sale.

I knew better to try and PM Fry's, I figured the extra $1 off would guarantee I got denied on the coupon. I just wanted the $5 coupon off BBy $24.99 price. It's also a studio reimbursed coupon (full reimbrusement plus 8 cents processing for BBy. not a 1/2 & 1/2). So BBy would get their money regardless. I may try Kennesaw as they (have in the past) been more accepting of coupons and PMs (although lately I am getting shot down there also IE. At the movies PM from Target flier). The coupon does stipulate "other offers" but not specifically sales.

I just didn't want to drive to Fry's. I do hear Target is taking it and their price is the same as BBy, I just wanted the rewards credit and $ to go towards renewing my silver.

if you don't need a coupon to pick it up from fry's I don't mind swinging over that way tomorrow and picking it up for you - not sure how long the sale lasts?

Thanks for the offer, I appreciate it but-
Kennesaw took the coupon no-problem. The Assistant Manager laughed when I told him about Cobb Pkwy not taking it. He said it's was better numbers for his store. Out the door for $21.99. Not bad considering the Blu version also includes the Penguins disc content and with the coupon is almost the same price as the two disc pack.

Costco has a load of $12.99 Blu-rays, I saw them today. Most have been $10 at one time or another, but they did have "The Omega Man," for any huge "I am Legend" or Heston fans. (Also Troy, The Shining, Clock Work Orange, The Fugative & Fugative 2, March of the Penguins, Alexander Rev.)

Clockwork Orange is a nice price. You should check out CD Warehouse just up the street for some good deals on Blus.

Ahh, a commute. How I will know your nefarious ways starting tomorrow!

Clockwork Orange, Omega Man, Alexander, March OTP, and The Shining are all on my pick-up list Monday (The wife was with me Sunday and if she sees me buy 5 BR movies then I am going to have to shell out for at least 2 new pair of shoes).

I am definitely approaching Bargain bin Blu-Rays with caution since I got burned with that terrible Young Guns pressing (DO NOT BUY IT). This is also why I am not buying the Fugative, even at $12 the screwed up resolution and mastering (as they did with Young Guns) is not worth it as an upscaled DVD looks better than the end result.

For anyone interested CAG has it's own consolidated Blu-Ray glitch list (for flawed pressings) and it has saved me some serious $ and disappointment.
Nothing amplifies mastering flaws like 1080p.

I love that place, good ole' Disc Go Round. I wish I could get to Barret more all the stores are so close together (and so are the cars ROFL).

Anyone seen any of the latest Target PS3 drops at 75% off or any of the latest 360 drops at 50% or 75% off yet? I'm stuck at work so I haven't been able to check for Monday Target drops anywhere yet.

I am pretty sure he is referring to the Target clearance titles.

I don't check until after lunch as it seems most stores wait to do these until noon-ish. Are there any particular titles you want me to check?

If you don't mind
[207-24-0078] Haze (PS3)
[207-24-0155] Far Cry 2 (PS3)
[207-22-0278] Fracture (360)
[207-22-0299] Lego Batman (360)

And any anything else you see for the 360 (there is a lot on clearance for the 360 -- at least 13 different titles on my "want list"). I'd rather have a game for the 360 unless they are PS3 titles only or I can't locate a cheap copy for the 360.

I have most of the DPCI numbers on the titles I'm interested in for the 360 if you want me to post them.

Thanks!

Cut and Pasted in my phone-
I hand search only now, many stores show stock that's vapor or hidden.

I picked up Ace Combat 6 for $14.98 at the Park Place Target. I left one copy for someone. They had a few other games left too including Lego Batman.

Lego Batman at 50% off? or 30%? Any clue on the prices of the PS3 games?
Lego Batman at 50% off? or 30%? Any clue on the prices of the PS3 games?
Lego Batman was $20.98. I didn't check on the PS3 prices because I don't own a PS3 but they did have Fracture for the PS3.

Pretty sure Fracture 360 was 50% off at Edgewood tonight. They had a few copies.

There was some decent PS3 stuff at 50% off, too. BiA and Spidey:WoS. They had Haze, and I believe that was 50%. Don't remember seeing any Far Cry 2 or Lego Batman.

There was one Rock Band 360 full kit clearanced to $98, and some PS2 HSM3 dance game bundles for $15.

Anyone seen the LEGO Batman (360) for $20.98 around the Kennesaw and surrounding areas? I already checked the one on 92/575.

And it may be old news, but they did have Tomb Raider - Underworld (360) for $41.98 Not a great markdown (at least not to a cheap ass like me), but it will eventually get there
Anyone know what the return period for stuff like Rock Band drums at BB is? I bought them on the 17th, and I need to get my money back.
Most likely 30 days.

How was the first day at the new job?

Kroger on Five Forks and Oak in Lilburn has HDDVDs 50% off. Bit on several I was sold on before. THere's still Miami Vice, land of the dead, slither, elizabeth, hollywoodland, and 1 army of darkness. Shop Smart, Shop S-Mart!

Too far away, dag nabit.

I was going to go to the one in Snellville hunting Dazed & Confused until I did the math.

Boring as shit. But that's to be expected with orientation. Today should be more interesting.

I need to drop 20 lbs stat. I hate the way my clothes look in a professional setting.

Self-induced gagging and laxatives. Go for it!

Seriously, though, completely cut out sodas. COMPLETELY. At least until you drop the weight but then only drink them sparingly. Water, water, water. If you don't want to drop certain foods then do smaller portions. It'll help. Do some regular cardio but not always the same thing. I kept running the same distance and plateaud. I switched up my regular run with wind sprints and suicides and that definitely helped.

It was at one of two other stores I checked. I almost picked it up then on a splurge since I didn't really get into it the first time I watched it and figured I might like it more if I watched it again.

That's exactly what I'm trying to do. I had zero water yesterday, and one cherry coke today (just to get some caffeine). I'm planning on taking some water flavor packets so I can have something that doesn't taste like water. My big thing is always being hungry and wanting to snack on something. I need to get some more of my sugar-free gum.

And h3ll - there wasn't really anything I got for DVD deals. They're buried in the thread on the 2nd or third page, but it was just a few different seasons of stuff.

Shallowford Rd @ Sandy Plains has Haze @ 14.98, Far Cry 2 @ 29.98, Mercs 2 (360) for 14.98, Facebreaker (360) for 9.98, Fracture for the PS3 for 19.98, Singstar PS3 bundle for 29.98, 1 Last Remnant for 41.98, and lots more.

Don't know if anyone noticed, but Target has John Adams for $14.99 and Band of Brothers for $19.99. After seeing the deal listed on DVDTalk today I stopped into the Cumming Target to grab John Adams. 3 John Adams and 1 Band of Brothers were left.

They had quite a few clearance games, but they were the usual suspects: Haze, Fracture, Facebreaker, etc.

They did have a single Rockband Special edition for the 360 marked down to $90 something...

Had to travel up PIB today and checked out some Targets and Krogers. Actually found a DDRU2 at the Target south of the forum. It was out of system so they sold it for ten. They had a decent amount of clearance games with the Singstar/Facebreaker/Ace Combat 6 group of games at 50% off. Ditto for the games at the Target on Pleasant Hill just off Medlock Bridge (I think, the one by Stony River Steakhouse, good food) although that Target had a lot more games. No gaming ottomans on clearance. Still haven't found a single store with those on clearance yet.

The kroger next to that Target on PIB had a few HDDVDs like Eastern Promises and Hollywoodland, but no 50% off signage although there was very little left, maybe 15 total DVDs and a couple copies of those 2. Kroger on Steve Reynolds just off Pleasant Hill had a few more like Slither and Dead Silence, was alomst as picked over and had 50% off signage.

I need that also. I loved that series, still on my DVR (need to erase it, can't hold more than 6 other shows)

Would anyone happen to have a copy of Kung Fu Panda 360 (sealed/unsealed) that they would be willing to trade for a copy of Kung Fu Panda PS3 (sealed)?

They have these motion-sensing dance games at Target (I saw them at Edgewood last night) that are now down to 75% off, so about $18. If you're a DDR fan, and want to hook up this little tower to your TV and put little reflectors on your TV and BUSSAMOVE to the sounds of Chris Brown and C+C Music Factory, these might be a pretty sweet deal. They're on an endcap in the toy dept. at Edgewood.

Someone please buy this and make some videos.

Confirmed no Lego Batman at Edgewood last night, btw. and Brothers in Arms was only 30% off. and they have Far Cry 2, but not on clearance.

Has anyone seen the Rock Band Track Pack 2 for PS2 get clearanced yet? They had them for PS3 down to 50% off at Edgewood.

I just got an email from wester76 who picked me up a Dazed and Confused. He also picked up an extra Children of Men for trading. I am also pulling my guide box out of storage to check for Viking is anyone looking for any non-CE/LE guides from the last two drops?

Last two as in last two from any store previous to the most recient BBy drop? or what stores are you talking about? Let me go check out the list...

Anyway you could list what you have boxed up (if it's too many could you possibly take pictures of the spines)?

*** all these are wants - the first four are more important, but I am interested in all listed ***

Order of importance (since my list is quite long):

1.) Viking
2.) Kameo
3.) Condemned
4.) Gun

Rest below are not ranked (and should be in fairly good order from most recent drops to oldest drops):

Assassin's Creed
Devil May Cry 4
Legend Of Spyro: Dawn Of The Dragon
LEGO Indiana Jones
Lost Odyssey
Mass Effect
Mercenaries 2: World in Flames
Rise of the Argonauts

Destroy all Humans - Path Of The Furon
Tales of Vesperia

Bully: Scholarship Edition

Alone in the Dark
Blue Dragon

Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction
Uncharted: Drakes Fortune

Dark Messiah of Might & Magic Elements

Condemned 2

Eternal Sonata
Folklore
Lego Star Wars: Complete Saga

Lair

Last two BBy drops, my game stop is like the ultimate anti-aircraft battery, I always gets shotdown there.

Got the last Mercs 2 at the Town Center Target yesterday, but no luck on LEGO Batman. Anyone seen a clearanced Bats at any Target store?

Jeez, I really hope these games last till 75% off... that's my sweet price... but it seems like Mercs 2 (360) is going like hotcakes at 50% off... (I want it for $7.48, darn it!) and it also seems like Target over stocked the PS3 version  (which I don't want)

Seen a Lego Batman (360) for $20.98 at the St. Mountain Target (Park Place).

I know you want to get games @ 75% off (I usually hold out for that), but 15 for Mercs 2 is a great deal value-wise. The only reason it's not a great deal overall is the oversaturation of copies sitting on store shelves like GTA IV. It's a lot of fun for 15 is all I'm saying especially if you have a buddy to play online.

I'll DP to bump this back up for this info: I stopped by the Sears in Northlake yesterday around 5PM and found the following:

PS3
Warhawk
Armored Core 4

360
Pirates
Nascar 08
NCAA 08
Def Jam Icon

Xbox
Breakdown (on 360 shelves, not bin)

Armored Core and Warhawk had Jan stickers while the others had Feb stickers. Didn't price them, but all the Feb stickered games had Feb pricing and I know for a fact Warhawk was NOT there the other day when I checked so it most likely was not in the bin when they price stickered everything so I bet it would be 9.97 instead of the 16.97 sticker.

The DS Metroids, Eternal Sonata, and xbox SW Battlefront were all gone. Kinda wanted SWBF, but there's probably noone playing it anymore anyway.

Here's a photographic survey of all the clearance titles at the North Druid Hills Target as of 9:20 last night. Stacked 'em all together for ya:

I snagged a Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise for $14.98, but it appeared to be the only one.

Any decent prices in that shizz? Nascar and Fracture would be tempting at the right price.

You know, considering I don't work too far from it.
