also I bought me some .99 cent games today and went ahead and bit the bullet on Sin Episodes:emergence. I went a month without buying a game so spending 25 bucks doesn't seem too bad.

fucking sucks D-Lee is going to be out 8-10 weeks. Cubs were playing pretty well even with all their injuries and now they lose their best player

Also, you have some serious willpower. I went bought a ton of stuff this month, mostly ds games during the b2g1 at eb. But for the next few months I'm definately going to make an effort to cut back. The last thing I'm going to get this month is Advent Children. Next month, New Super Mario Bros.
 
When was the King Kong contest. I just got a poster from it today. I was most sure they were making that shit up to begin with.

EB is having a PC game clearance on used games since they no longer accept them for trade ins.

The last game I bought before today was Battlefield 2:Euro Force which was only 10 bucks. Before that I had a gift card and basically used that. I think I have spent maybe 60 dollars total this year on games so far.

the next game I plan on buying is going to be Half Life 2:Episode One. After that I am probably going to sell my graphics card, go back to my 9600, and bide my time until Vista and Unreal Tournament 2007 comes out

Nope. She's leaving because she's engaged to a German guy, and heading over there to live with him. She'll probably be back to visit, but all the same...I can't do that. It's just not right.

You know, that reminds me of a joke from the Simpsons rerun I saw tonight...

Homer flooded the town, and Ned Flanders was thrilled that God had finally decided to smite the wicked. Then, he saw Homer float by in a boat...

"Heaven must be easier to get into than Arizona State!"

Besides...considering how popular marijuana is in Ann Arbor, the episode REALLY had to suck to not go over well. :)

Wow, same day two different Simpsons episode, but both had to do with Homer flooding the town. :shock:

My rerun was when Homer started praying to god for everything. He sued the church, won the deed and threw a house warming party. God got angry and started to flood Springfield but they were saved by Lovejoy.
