Your Base mentioned this the other day. But it still probably deserves its own thread, cos the other thread still says OOS in the title.

Like I said over there, dont forget to put a cheap used game into your cart and then use 'SAVER' to get free shipping. I got all 7 different models that they had yesterday and free shipping on the whole mess.

I was in Gamestop the other day, and I picked up the Street Fighter Plug and Play for $5.00. Fantastic deal for a guy who collects all things Street Fighter.

hard to tell you like Street Fighter? I just got my Darkstalkers PS2/Sega Saturn controllers in the mail yesterday, and those things are sweet!

You know the funny thing? I couldn't find any web site that reviews those things. Sure, IGN might do one occasionally, and random people get random games, but come on...

I just became very sad. I just bought Spongebob 2 Plug 'n Play for my girlfriend for her birthday on Thursday from Toys R Us for 20 bucks. And now it's five on Gamestop. AH HATE JOO, GAMESTOP (actually, I hate Toys R Us)!

Order and then return this to TRU if you still have receipt
Problem 1: I don't really want to ask my girlfriend for it back. I doubt she'd mind much, but it would feel kinda weird and wrong to de/re-gift her.

Problem 2: It's opened and played with. I doubt they accept opened exchanges.
If you have the receipt you simply purchase this and then return THIS Spongebob game to TRU. THe girl never has to know how cheap you really are.....

The UPCs are all the same as long it was this Spongebob 2 game. Products have the same UPC no matter where they are sold.....

According to a post on SD, they are now ringing up for a penny at Gamestop B&M (not sure about EB). I wouldn't mind picking up some more games for a penny but I guess it will be a struggle to get them to sell it you (judging by what I have read in the penny guide thread)

Went to my local GS to test this theory out yesterday... I grabbed the WWE wrestling one and it rang up at $4.99 still, so ymmv on the penny thing...

What is so great about these things? The games are not that good. :whistle2:( But I am assuming that I am missing something important which makes them valuable...
ERAGH!!! Missed the Ms. Pacman Wireless again!!!
Me too and I also would even take a non-wireless one and they're all sold out.

Your not really 'missing' anything. $5 is just a good price compared to $25, or whatever these things cost when they first came out. But Im now realizing that many of these games are barely worth $5.

So far Spongebob 2 is being given to my friends 5 year old daughter, and the WWE, and Star Wars units are going to another friends nephew. Im keeping the Ms. Pacman Wireless, and the Space Invaders cos those have a few good oldschool games on them that I will actually play. Not sure yet what to do with the Enforcer, and Outrun 2019, Dragonball Z, and whatever other ones I have. The games on them are pretty dissapointing, and theyre not really moving on ebay... so Im sure they will just wind up collecting dust in my basement for the next 10 years, lol.

Why? What's gonna happen in 10 years?

And how is that spongebob? What are the games like? and yoshidude81, since you actually gave that one to an adult... was it more than 10 minutes worth of fun for her?
