There was a bundle with a Delorian Hot Wheels car for the same price but Amazon quickly sold out of it.

Price at Target should still be $14.99, not sure of the current Best Buy price.
I got it from my local Target for 14.99 + Tax so the Sunday deal is for the Blu-ray set for sure.

Here is the picture I took.

Target stores have the truck this morning and every single stores have at least 10 - 20 copies instock. If not just request for Rain Check. Kinda Funny Regular Price MSRP $19.99 on sale for $14.99

Well, my BB had BttF labeled at $14.99, but it rang up $24.99. Required a manager's override. They also had True Grit for $14.99. So I figured I could get both of those for $9.99. Then I noticed The Fighter and Despicable Me in the Target ad I had just picked up. So I was going to pm those and try to stack the coupon. I asked the guy if he could just scan the coupon four times or if he needed four coupons. He said he needed four coupons. So I asked him just to run BttF and Despicable Me and I would be back for the other two since there were a bajillion copies. So he deleted The Fighter and BttF. So we had to get another manager override. I always hate that since each time a manager gets involved there is a chance of them shutting down even a legit deal. Well, all went well. 21 some-odd dollars for BttF and DM. Then he asked, "Do you want me to throw these (coupons) away for you or do you want them?" I say, "Seriously? Could you just scan those two movies and I could just have the one trip to the store then?" He said, "Sorry, but I can only scan them once..." Unfortunately, he was the only cashier, otherwise I would have went back in line and let people go in front of me if he became available first when it was my turn. So I took them back and I'll be back tonight or tomorrow... *sigh*

I had a similar tale with the 50% off used game coupon from the Gamer mag tonight. Picked up Reach for $17.50 AC and noticed they also had Dead Space 2. Went back 2 hours later, had the same cashier. She said she would not let me use it because it is "1 Per Customer". I explained to her I was a new customer now verified by a new receipt and new transaction number, but she was not having it. I asked if I should come back in another 2 hours, or perhaps tomorrow. I also tried the "Look at my shiny RZ SILVER membership card. That means I spend a lot of money here" - then asked to speak to a manager. She called one over. He looked at the situation and asked what the problem was. She was trying to plead her side of the argument when he interrupted her and said "There is no problem here. Just scan the coupon". Classic. In the end I had success though...DS2 and Reach for $17.50 each.
No longer $15 on Amazon.
I checked Amazon, and it's no longer $15. What's up with that? By the way, where is this $5 coupon you guys keep talking about? Can someone please direct me to it? I'm hoping to go to Best Buy and try my luck there.

Thanks a lot, man. I went to 4 different Targets today and had no luck finding the damn trilogy set. I also went to 3 Best Buys in order to try to pricematch Target's price, and they didn't have the movies in stock either. After going on the Best Buy site, it appears as if the "Back to the Future" Trilogy set has been backordered. My luck just keeps getting worse.

Am I missing something? What is this Delorean Hot Wheels bonus everyone is referring to? I checked Target.com but it doesn't mention anything about this.

Also, Target.com only seems to have the dual layer DVD copy available for $14.99. I don't see any listing for the Blu Ray version.

The version with the Hot Wheels was an Amazon item, not Target. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be available directly from Amazon anymore, only through much more expensive third-party sellers.

The Target sale is in-store, not online. I'm not sure whether it was available online at any point or not (not all of their in-store sales are online as well), but if it was, they don't have it online anymore.

Just picked up a copy from Target using a free gift card I got from Dove for 74 cents. They still had a bunch of copies at the Target in Chester, VA.

Not much to add other than another success story of $9.99 plus tax at Best Buy with price matching and the coupon. There was a little disagreement with the cashier if it was the same item (the Target ad has "The Trilogy" printed on the box and the BB price sticker was covering up Doc Brown's face) but she eventually accepted the match. I'm not even that big a fan of the series, especially the third movie, but this was too good to pass up.

Lucky you. I went to hell and back looking for these damn movies, and I can finally say that I got them. I bought the last copy at a local Target I hadn't already gone to. I called the store before coming in, and the sales associate in the electronics department was kind enough to hold the last copy for me. I'm relived. :)

I bought it a week before it went on sale (when it was $20) and got a price reduction a couple days ago. I'm glad I did, because they sold out hours after the sale began.

Is there any particular reason why everyone is selling the BTTF blu-ray trilogy so cheap when the retail price is normally $80?

If you really want a Hot Wheels DeLorean, they do sell one at Target in your toys section for about a dollar. I think the card packaging is a little different, but it might exist in your store. I only saw one while I was browsing the Hot Wheels section the other day though, so maybe it's a little harder to find the rest of the current line.

my Target was out and I got a raincheck
Oh man I totally forgot about this :( Is target not giving out rainchecks?
If it's a sale item in their weekly sales flier, it's raincheck-able.

If it's a temporary price cut (TPC), then it's not raincheck-able.

Since this is advertised in the weekly flier, you can get a raincheck for being out of stock.

This.

I was at my local Target at opening on Sunday (looking for a second copy) and they didn't have any out. I got my price adjustment at the same Target earlier today and I didn't even see a tag on a shelf. I went to 2 other Targets during the week and they didn't have any in stock.

Except for the fact that the ad itself says "Limited Quantities. No rain checks." Granted stores can ignore that but it is not the norm and they do not have to give you one.

I know the stores out here are very anal about rain checks for items, so they don't tend to make mistakes. The rules I posted earlier are still correct, without the exclusion for this item.

Oh I know, unless the ad states otherwise rain checks can easily be had for sale items. I just didn't want anyone to get their hopes up as far as getting a rain check goes.

I had emailed the top manager at the walmart that denied me a price match on Sunday. Explaining what happened and how I was very disappointed in the service I received. I got a call yesterday and they gave me a copy for free.

Just got my movies from amazon today and watched the first. I can't believe how good it looks for being almost as old as I am. Not a fan of having to hit the skip button 20 times to get to the main menu though!
