There was a bundle with a Delorian Hot Wheels car for the same price but Amazon quickly sold out of it.

Price at Target should still be $14.99, not sure of the current Best Buy price.
I got it from my local Target for 14.99 + Tax so the Sunday deal is for the Blu-ray set for sure.

Here is the picture I took.

Before Target opens tomorrow, I'm deciding now that I'm officially happy with the $20 price. I won't be making a special trip back there just to get my $5.

I'll keep the receipt with me this week if I happen to drive by and have 5 minutes to spare, but otherwise it's a fine deal that I'm content with.

Sweet def gonna go to to Best Buy and try to use the coupon now since it doesn't require a price match! Hmmm I just checked the weekly ad for BB and it says BttF is $25 in store. I wonder if the $15 price is good online only?

Would love for Amazon to match at $15...got credit to burn there (sent in a price match notice). No BB or Target less than an hour away from me, sadly.

They do have to match the website, but that would negate the $5 off coupon. It would require a manual override, which means that a manager would need to approve it, and they'll read over the coupon and it says not Valid on Sale Prices, only on regular price items. So just like getting the Target price PMed at BB would pretty much remove the use of the $5 coupon so would matching the BB website if this isn't the normal in store price.

Wow, Amazon put the price of this set up to 39.99, incredibly lame. If they don't price match by the end of today then I'll place the order at BB.com.
Anyone know if they will match their site and accept the $5 off any blu-ray $14.99 or over coupon for this?
No.

(Just kidding. Read the answer a few posts up!)
No.

Wow. That's what I get for skimming posts and trying to look at ad's and take care of the kids and drink coffee and eat breakfast at 8:30 on a Sunday morning. LOL.

I seem to be hitting the backspace key a lot this morning too.

If anyone tries to use the $5 off coupon at Best Buy, please let us know if it was a success or not. Getting the set for $9.99 would be an insane deal!

I'm going to try this later on.
Dont need to pricematch at bestbuy ladies and gents.

and try using that $5 off coupon too. makes it $9.99. woot woot.
Very nice. I wonder if this one has digital copies? I got mine from Target for $20 and will PM to get $5 back. It includes the DC & if BB also has the DC included, I might get there using the coupon. If it doesn't I might get that version as a gift. Thanks.

I'm not sure if that $5 off coupon would work but I did see a few movies that I would want to pick up. I might check this out....i would hate to waste the gas...

Confirmed via Slickdeals, the coupon works. Definitely going later on.

The coupon, I've tried using video game coupons on games already on sale, they can care less. If they read the coupon, tell them nicely, please scan the coupon and see what the computer says. You will then love the scan down price!

Posting from the Best Buy parking lot, they've matched the 14.99 at target (signage and all) and used the coupon. 9.99 before tax with 10 or so copies left in Danvers Mass.

Thanks for sharing man. I need to get to a Best Buy asap.

OMFG, it was out of absolute chance i looked in the DVD section and there was 2 copies behind a dvd version of BTTF Trilogy. I got the second to last copy and i decided to move the last copy out in plain site in the Blu Hi Def wall section. Also picked up The Fighter.

I brisked through in the blu section, no copies or tags in site. I wandered into the dvd section thinking maybe my store made a mistake (i use to work at this store, so the mix-up would have been no surprise to me)

Anyone ever had an bad experience of Best Buy not price matching their online prices?

The one near me is notorious of being asses and have a feeling they might not price match their online price since its sold out.

EDIT: Seems like Bestbuy.com adjusted the price back up to $24.99 online. Anyone got a scan of the target ad because I am not seeing the ad for BTTF on their online ad?

But remember, the next few days is Amazon's "Hi Def" week, and wouldn't it be a shocker to find BTTF Trilogy down to $15 Tomorrow, and hey, they can say "Yesterdays price was $40 - look how much you are saving!"

Hum....

Just got BTTF for 9.99 (after Best Buy price match there website to 14.99)
Then used the $5.00 off deal.
Last one in Montgomery,Al.
Anyone tried this on True Grit yet ?

Thanks everyone who posted that the coupon works. Also thanks for mentioning that the price on this shot back up on BB.com so I'll know to bring a Target ad with me!

Just lucked out at BB. I hadnt realized it went back up on the website and it rang up 24.99. Luckily the cashier said it rang u[p 14.99 earlier and priced adjusted without me saying a word. It is the set with the digital copies included.

Would they look the Target ad up online and price match it if you mentioned it? I know they have looked up prices on their own website as well as others right at the register (I think it was Office Max and TRU the one day).

yea they would. i have them do for various sites.

Well that was kind of weird. I picked up a copy in Best Buy, and took it over to a kiosk to double-check the price. Typed in the SKU and it came up at $14.99, as expected. So then I took it up to the register to buy it (immediately, didn't spend any time looking around at all), and when the cashier rang it up it came up as $24.99. I told her that the website and the kiosk said that it was $14.99. She initiated an override, and while she was waiting for a manager to come and approve it, I brought up the website on my phone -- and it said $24.99! So apparently I hit it at just the exact moment that the price went up? Fortunately, she didn't actually want to see it, and gave it to me for that price anyway (plus the coupon, made it $9.99). I hope that she doesn't get in trouble for it, though.

Anyway, looks like the direct Best Buy deal is dead -- I'd expect to have to price match the Target ad from here on out (might make using the coupon as well tougher).

Great! Thanks. We have a Target store less than a mile from BB, but they don't hand out any ad's.

Picked this up from target today for $15, 5 bucks a blu ray is a win win win. Watching it now, looks and sounds great!

Rung up $24.99 @best buy, but said $14.99 on the shelf. Manager fixed the price. I had the $5 off any bluray/dvd over $14.99. Cashier said it was only for regularly priced items. I ask her to scan it to see if it would work...and it did. Got the trilogy for $9.99+tax
So I just went to confirm, the thicker/taller case is the non-stupid case, right? In my pics, this is the one on right, right? I just want to double confirm.

I found this on Slick Deals about the cases if it helps anyone.

"On the back cover there's a set of numbers in the bottom right hand corner, just above the "Dolby Digital" logo. The number 2016181 indicates the new packaging. The number 2014242 indicates the old packaging."

the thicker one i have says 2016180 on the actual case, but 2016181 on the slip case. one number off shouldn't matter, right?

Mine the same way I think if 2016181 is on the slip-case you have the newer package.
Target ad scan would be appreciated here too. Do you need a Target ad or will they just call?
I'm positive you need the ad.

You don't really need an ad scan -- since it's the current ad now, you can just go to target.com and click the "Weekly Ad" link to see it. I know that normal CAG policy is no ad scans, though I don't know whether that only applies to future ads, or includes current ads as well.

As far as needing the ad goes, I've had them go both ways, it generally depends upon the particular customer service rep. When they have required the ad (which was most of the time), though, they've generally required an original copy -- a printout of a scan wasn't acceptable, and in one instance, even bringing the ad up on my phone wasn't good enough. Anything but an actual copy of the ad is going to be YMMV.

YOU GUYS if you are trying to buy it from Best Buy, it is $14.99 from them too. Go to the website, its on sale for $14.99, same as Target. Go quickly!

The website price went back up to $24.99 a little over an hour ago. You didn't even bother to look at the last page of the thread, did you?

Just got back. Went Best Buy in store and it rang up $24.99. So I just went to Target and got my $5 back and also impulsed bought two discs edition of Transformers and the two discs edition of Transformers 2 for $14.99 each. Before I google around, anyone know how low did the special editions for each Transformers blu ray movies have gone?
