24 hours, actually. ;)

Interview with Teddy Hart. He's either the most deluded spotmaster on the planet, or he's the smartest dude, livin' kayfabe 24/7 and being one of the few people to make it believable in this day and age. Since he has a penchant for pissing off bookers and wrestlers, my guess is the former. It sure is entertaining no matter what it is, although it's grating to read about what an amazing wrestler he considers himself to be. I sure haven't seen anything even remotely impress me, though perhaps I haven't seen his work in whatever hillbilly elk's lodge Nebraska wrestling promotion he's worked for over the past 7 years.

Teddy Harts Comments on Potential WWE Agreement, JAPW Business Matters, MTV's Wrestling Society X Project (WSX) & More

Disclaimer: The thoughts/views expressed by Mr. Hart may be deemed as unsuitable for certain listeners. However, WTR strives to give its guests an open forum to interact. Personal consideration should be advised.

During the WWE Royal Rumble PPV, 'WTR Sunday Night' featured Teddy Hart as a guest on the program. Here are the interview highlights:

* Said the gospel truth comes from him and "not a bunch of marks".

* For last Saturday's Jersey All Pro Wrestling (JAPW) show, Internet speculation insisted that Hart had garnered major heat from promoter Fat Frank, leading into Hart no longer working for the promotion. However, Hart said that it was far from the truth. To listen to the interview, Click Here.

* Hart considers he has a "reasonable relationship" with Nerco Butcher and likes to call him a friend.

* Said he and Butcher both honestly believed the bout setup by Fat Frank was a "ridiculous match".

* Said he likes Fat Frank, but says he's a "f***ing moron" on his own without his input. For the purpose of this point, Hart said he couldn't mention other people in the promotion because they would get upset with the belief of "wrestling is real", and say they do not have a clue what to do in the booking area as well.

* Said he spoke to Nerco Butcher about changing the bout to a Four Way, featuring Ruckus and Jack Evans, but it didn't happen. Hart said this was how he wanted to do it or he would not work the show.

* He became tired of them controlling the show and the belief that fans were not getting their monies worth, thus they decided to do a match with Chris Hero instead.

* Said Chris Hero was "a little upset" about being booked for the match.

* Hart doesn't consider Chris Hero much. He likes him as much as a "hangnail."

* Rather than being fired, Hart said he quit the promotion because he asked for the JAPW World Title to be left in his bag, and he was upset about the promotion going through his things to steal the title belt. To listen to the interview, Click Here.

* Said he doesn't need the title to get over, and doesn't want the title if he cannot take it home with him.

* In his reference to JAPW, Hart said he broke his neck for a promotion that originally tried to squash him and felt that he was being mistreated, leading into him quitting JAPW.

* However, he said he is very grateful for what the company has done for his career. "Without them I wouldn't be here," said Teddy Hart.

* Mentions he would like to entertain the JAPW fans again, but he will not unless the company changes its attitude. "I'm not Samoa Joe and I'm not AJ Styles. I don't need the money, guys," said Teddy Hart.

* Said he could sleep at home with his hot girlfriend in his king-sized bed and collect his inheritance. Hart looks for those to be grateful as he is very grateful for them.

* It was mentioned that he was in talks with JAPW this past week and signs point to a possible return. " I don't know if I'll have my belt, but I'll go back to Jersey All Pro I believe," said Teddy Hart.

* In comparison to other established wrestling-based programs, Hart said it is "up in the air" as to what fans believe overall if the MTV project was a good enough show as a 30-minute endeavor. He uses fast food restaurants as an example to express his point. To listen to the interview, Click Here.

* Said the WSX project has a lot of guys who are very hungry, have street credibility, and are looking to make it into WWE one day when they are good enough.

* In reference to the WSX debut show that featured a Battle Royal, Hart said former ECW Extremist Justin Credible was a nice guy, but he thinks Credible was on a "crack pipe" before the match.

* Said Justin Credible was released and will not be featured on WSX shows in the future. According to Hart, the former ECW Extremist had botched a couple of spots."I'm about perfection," said Teddy Hart. He felt it was an entertaining match, but it could have been better.

* Said he has no control over the matches until the second or third season of the project. At that point, he will be able to apply his input to better use.

* Due to Music Television (MTV) being afraid to show him anything, Hart said he had to steal a copy of the highlight reel and some of the matches. About a month ago, Hart said he went to L.A. to check on everything, thus he was able to grab a copy.

* "I really didn't like the editing," said Teddy Hart. He saw the project on a 35-inch screen and said that it is a work in progress. Mentioned the project is also in HD, with very nice cameras and a good looking staff.

* On the opening match between Matt Sydal Vs. Jack Evans, Hart said Evans was hurt for the match. Due to staff not knowing how to film wrestling as a product, Hart mentioned the match went under a total of eleven changes resulting from the pace of the match.

* Twenty minutes into the match, staff realized the importance of having a hard camera (wide shot of the in-ring action). That occurred after the Sydal Vs. Evans match was done five times to acquire better shots. Hart also gives kudos to WWE's production staff. To listen to the interview, Click Here.

* Hart believes it was the seventh match in a row they did before a studio audience for season one.

* The new audience brought in for season two were "mostly real fans that wanted to stay in line and some paid audience that were sitting there," said Teddy Hart.

* For the pilot show, most attendees were paying fans. Meanwhile, other shows that will filmed all at once were attended by bus riders who didn't have to pay, and just wanted to see the product. They were used to help create the overall crowd atmosphere.

* Said he always wanted to work for WWE since he was a kid, and thinks the New Hart Foundation would be very successful.

* "He's my idol," said Teddy Hart on Vince McMahon.

* "When my activities with MTV are finished, I'll be heading straight to the WWE as fast as I can," said Teddy Hart. He would love to be there now, but he is unable to get out of his contractual agreement at this time. He is attempting to get a release sometime in March

* Said if MTV gets a new season, they may not release him. At this point in time, the network doesn't know what is going on.

* WSX has a one season deal. If the project is picked up again, Hart will have a four season agreement with MTV. After the possible seasons are finished filming, Hart could go directly to WWE without trouble.

* Said he knows MTV wants to work with WWE like a "Network Vs. Network" or special guest WWE Superstars on the program.

* Said WWE needs help building stars.

* Believes WSX could serve as a "feeder system" to WWE.

* "The hardest working, most reliable group of people in wrestling right now. Drug free, really, really, hard working and unbelievable psychology," said Teddy Hart in reference to T.J. Wilson, Nattie Neidhart, and Harry Smith.

* Gives credit to Jason Clevett of SLAM! Wrestling for discovering them ten years ago, and says he has to do his thing on television to win back Clevett from being an AJ Styles mark. "I owe Jason probably thousands of dollars in food," said Teddy Hart. To listen to the interview, Click Here.

Wrestling Society X (WSX) airs Tuesday, January 30th 2007 at 10:30PM EST/9:00PM CST on MTV.
Oh ok.. yeah he sucks nowadays.. Taz made me into a big ECW mark back in the day... not that I got to see it much but when I did it was awesome :D
I watched a little ECW back in the day, the problem was it was usually on Friday nights and I had other things to do. This is also why I usually miss SD, Friday night is a stupid night to put wrestling on... ANYWAY, I thought Taz in ECW was alright, but he just really started irking me when he showed up in WWE. His whole gimmick just didn't fly, and I found his "beatdowns" on guys like Kane & Kurt Angle out of nowhere, to be more annoying than believable. I think he's alright as an announcer, but not my favorite.

The one thing I do like about Taz is he's a no bullshit kinda guy. He tells it like it is, and makes no secrets about who he likes/doesn't like. Some of the interviews I've seen with him on various ECW dvds are very interesting, because Taz simply tells it like it is.

On an ECW-related note, it is nice to see Super Crazy getting a push on Raw. Although, I'd rather see Super Crazy vs Jeff Hardy later, than Khali vs Hardy.

good point, I guess he main evented last night didn't he.

Well, as far as I'm concerned this is pretty much where he belongs anyway if they insist on putting him on TV anyway.

Really?

If this guy is lobbying for Mike Tenay to get back on the booking comittee, the talks may have come to an indefinite delay, as.. well, he died last year.

(what site were you really trying to link to?)

Can anyone tell me why they added that "Carlito, Carlito, Carlito" to Carlito's music? It's pretty dumb. I guess I shouldn't let it bother me too much given how much Carlito wins.

Rated RKO seems poised to drop the belts on turn on each other sometime in the coming weeks, no? That way they'll actually get defended at WM. Ooooh I hope Michaels and Cena win the belts tonight, so they can drop them Cade & Murdoch next week when Rated RKO interferes.

Tenay is actually back on TNA's booking committee, and Umaga can stay safe by being in Raw's upper mid-card, being kept strong, or just going to another brand and being on top. Damn, Khali didn't win the belt.

that "Carlito, Carlito, Carlito" has always been there..
Who did Jeff Hardy piss off backstage?
In the world of WWE, belt holders are of supreme power.

I think they were simply trying to push Khali some more, by having him beat the Intercontinental Champ.

Also, Khali wrestles like "retarded video game A.I."

Is it just me, or has blading become 20x more prevalent in the last year? Ironic I type this as Flair and Cena are on screen at the same time...
Khali number one!
Khali bom-ba-ye!
Now I'm gonna have Inoki's jazzy theme music in my head for the next three days. Thanks a bunch.
Fatal 4-way at wrestlemania.
With a McMahon in every corner!?!?!?

Oh wait, we've already been there...

holy shit

it took a second to realize we have new tag champs

stupid... now the belts are on other main eventers while the tag team division does nothing.,

I still mark like a bitch for the Undertaker. I got goosebumps, man. It was awesome. The gong.. the lights out.. the.. what appeared to be candles or just dim lights of some sort.. the smoke, the fire.. god that was awesome
Nice tease, but no way in hell they switch it to Taker-Cena.

Even though that match would be much, much better.
Indeed, or better than that, switch it around one more time so we get this:

HBK vs Taker - in a classic confrontation, think of all the history these two have

Cena vs Batista - in a match that is now 2 years overdue

This would mean either Batista or Cena would have to drop their title between now and Mania, but I CAN'T be the only one that would rather see those matches.

Just pray that it doesn't end up Cena-Taker. There's a 50/50 chance Batista beats Taker, but if for some reason it ends up Taker-Cena, I'd say Taker's streak is as good as gone.

DAMN, I really want to see HBK/Taker and Cena/Batista now.

Man, lookin' at Outlaw Ron Bass seems like two different people entirely. Wow.

I can't wait to see Honky Tonk Man's page - that dude is always a trip.

lol its sort of for laughs.. just stream or something..

its more from my personal collection

best commentating ive heard in a long time

question...

doesnt it come up in the cag media player when i post these videos... cant u just click play to preview? you dont have to dl right?

its a indy match

dammit. I downloaded it again. Why would you post it twice? We either saw it the first time and had nothing to say (that's my excuse) or we skipped it, again leaving us with nothing to say.

Psyko any chance you can say what it is?

With all the questioning you've done you could've already downloaded and watched it a dozen times. Since you've already wasted so much of your time trying to find out what it is, just download the damn thing and waste another 10 minutes on it.

it's play-by-play, but prolly nothing like you might have heard before....it's a match too, but yeah, you download it for the color commentary

Lol, that's been 3 weeks in a row now where Khali says "fuck you" at the crowd and WWE doesnt censor it.

Kinda surprising to see Rated RKO dropping the belts. Does that mean Cryme Tyme is gonna get a shot against Cena/HBK now?
Psyko any chance you can say what it is?
for god's sake, shut the fuck up, hit play, let it load for a few seconds and quit asking so many questions

Okay so there is a Jesse Ventura and Vince McMahon sound alike but yet somehow they suck ass. Oh, and there's a wrestling match that sucked worse than that "Donald" vs "Rosie" farce from RAW a few weeks ago.

I can understand if this was something awesome not to say what it was. But this sucked. Sorry guyver no offense but I'm just telling it as it is.
