This is semi taken from TimT at DVDtalk, who reported that Batman: The Animated Series Volume 4 is $24.97 at Wal-Mart.

I went, saw one copy, it had no price sticker, it was 2 am so I didn't want to price check it, but what I DID see was Batman: The Animated Series Volume 3 for $24.97, price tag and all, and it was a regular generic price tag.

Pretty good price, Volume 3 is still $35.99 at Best Buy.

I can confirm that volume 3 and 4 is $24.76 at my Wal-Mart. I just went back and got them tonight. I saw them when I went to get Romeo and Juliet today but I wanted to make sure Overstock or some other store didn't beat that price before I got them.

That's what I thought. That is by far the best price I have seen on it.

If you need the earlier volumes check those too. They may the same price as well.
 
My local Wal-Mart had volume 3 and 4 for $24.76. I picked up volume 4 today and watched the first two episodes and while it's not as good as the other three sets so far, it's a real treat, since I haven't seen any of these episodes.

Picked up Season 3 at the WM in northern CA where I live; no 1,2, or 4 in the local or nearby ones though. Found that deepdiscountdvd has 1 & 2 for like $50 though, so same diff; may buy that :D

That is cool price. :cold: But.. I'm going to pass. Especially based on what my local WM pulled recently with the Smallville Season 1 sale, I'm not going to be get tricked twice. "Fool me once shame on you, Fool me twice shame on me."

I just know my local WM will be "conviently out of stock" of those box sets until the sale is over. Then have a boatload of 'em at full non-sale price. :bomb:

Never was able to go back, and interrogate the manager about that. :cry:
 
Volume One is also marked down to that price. My store was out of Volume Two, but I'm guessing all four volumes were knocked back.
