Really does it matter when it was made? The fact is that they thought that they could make money off of some "minuscule skin changes and challenge maps". Which by your own definition doesn't affect the game. Some people will pay for those changes so if I was a game dev and someone was giving me more money for a small change then I would take it also.

If it was like some games that you don't get to see the "true ending" or impacts the game decently without purchasing the DLC then you have a gripe. But really if you don't want to pay for the dlc then don't buy it.

It's sickening man. When dlc first came or for consoles, it was extra maps and what not. Now it's for extra missions etc. I would never pay for extra costumes. I'm looking at you assassin's creed. It makes my head spin. It's atrocious. DLC is cool, but if it's not done right then it's not cool. Borderlands had the perfect idea of DLC..I hope they follow suit with the second one.

I dont know if this is dispositive of anything but in the DLC Nightwing Pack, Nightwing is mute. He has no dialogue whatsoever aside from the grunt and the groan you hear when he gets hit. Even on the challenge maps he doesnt have a snarky one liner before he goes in and attacks the baddies. They even voiced Tim Drake.

I mean if Rocksteady/DC went through the trouble of voicing a real obscure villain such as "Calendar Man" don't you think they would have also spent some time on Nightwing if he was "already on the disc"?

Arkham City has been milked to death if you asked me...well still is.... There are soooo many different DLC for it. I'm surprised they didn't just create different figures per store collectors. I bet they'd make even more money with it.

Hey people are buying my Collector's Edition statues just fine :) Some variety could probably make some extra cash .

Wow.. just... wow... i dont even know what to say. DLC is just getting friggin nutts at this point. I wish devs would spend more time finishing games so they dont require day 1 patches, instead of wasting so much time on DLC that should be in the friggin game. Not a stab at this game, but its a trend im not liking

Gamestop had some exclusive Joker maps for preorders. Will these also be on the marketplace? I haven't bought the game yet but I'm leaning towards just getting the GOTY version.
 
I got my dlc at gamestop cause it had the picture of the sinestro corps skin, but also cause I had a gift card.

Personally I kind of like the option of buying DLC at a store instead of stupid MS points.

I really can't stand DLC as a whole but if I have the option to not buy MS points. I will take it!!!

Challenge mode only for now. Future DLC could end up having new story but for now they add some maps and the ability to use a different character. They have some fairly unique abilities though and aren't just a palette swap.
